Have you ever spawned an ultra rare scorpion just to have it boarded by a random invisible guy? Well this happebs WAY to often, and lets face it, the active camouflage is completely broken. In other halos this boost had something that balanced it, for example, the radar random dots in Halo REACH, but in halo 5, its users are invisible of the radar and from the sight. I know that they are not totally invisible, but in a frenetic battlefield it can be unseen really easily.
PLEASE 343, do something about it.
Halo 5 is the only game I know where the invisibility/active camo actually works and it’s hard to see the other player. Other games Halo or not the invisibility is awful. Unfortunately Warzone is Warzone and people are taking advantage of their REQs to take down your stronger REQ. A strategy that surprising I haven’t thought of… Gonna have to start doing that.
I think H4 had random dots, too. They should have kept the dots
Halo 5 has the best active camo of all the games, and it sucks when that happens to your tank… Happened to me a few times and its frustrating. I could see the radar dots being a good balance.
I thinks its fine, if anything needs a buff its damage boost becuase ur the number one target and the boost gets wasted. Basically i would like to not be red when i put the damage boost on. I like the camo tho, it feels balanced to me. Allthough i do like the dots that were in the previous game.
The radar dots would be nice, but only a few dots. That way, they can still blend in to a crowd, but are then easily discovered if they’re alone.
I use active camouflage often. once I used active camo and spawn killed a few wraiths and scorpions in a warzone match, with the people messaging me complaints as a result.
Don’t spawn tanks without a support player trailing you. I’ll admit if you’re playing alone you’re just asking to have your tank wrecked. Active camo in H5 is awesome in my opinion. It’s the best yet. Tanks go down easy, but this is all about team play. That’s all there is to it. I know a lot of casuals just want to lone wolf it and that’s fine, but the game wasn’t designed to be played like that whether you like it or not.

someone called in an effective counter to your tank. It has happened to all of us and I don’t see any issues with it.
This is why Aerial vehicles will always be superior.
EDIT : Forgot I got this clip cause of camo
It’s a very strong lvl 4 req, used correctly. On Sanctum, I had two camos hunting my Wraith lol. I killed one, but sadly couldn’t find the other that came to kill me. Camo is the Achilles heel of everything, sometimes even flying vehicles. It’s annoying for sure, but water you gonna do…?

Welcome to the broken, casual nature of Warzone… say “hello” to Arena! lol
I don’t see any problem with it at all… Let’s face it… There’s 2 sides to the coin. You use it on someone else and it’s fun… Someone else uses it on you and it sucks.
Could all be fixed with an armor ability.
Something like “ONI advanced sensors”. Maybe removes the non-sprinting radar protection it currently gives to the user, but adds active camo detection.
I already use advances sensors over wheel man when running tanks so I can see people crouch walking behind barriers.
The AC req on its own I think is fine.

I see your point, I have done that before (specially with ONI/Hannibal Scorpions), and I know that doing that will provoque the other player rage, and lets face it, it´s kinda funny. But I still thinks that it should be… not nerfed but balanced, in a way.

I agree with you

Active camo is powerful, but everybody uses it as it is. You still appear on radar unless you’re crouch walking or using advanced sensors (and even then if they are using advanced sensors.) I’ve been handed my hat a time or two by someone using it and I’ve done the same to probably more people.
