-Active Camo- Powerup Pickup or AA?

Let’s weigh the cold hard facts about Camo in the form of a powerup and AA because this is something that can easily be changed before the game is released. They made Camo a powerup again on some Anniversary maps in Reach that functions like it did in Halo 3, so should they just keep it as a powerup instead of trying to balance it as an AA?

So help the cause out… <mark>Personally, I think they seriously need to scrap this Camo-as-an-AA nonsense and bring back both OS and Camo as pickups on the maps.</mark> There’s no way to balance this AA that wouldn’t be frustrating to gameplay and be an annoyance to people. Answer me this, what was wrong with Camo as a pickup? Just look at what Camo does to gameplay in Reach and try to figure out ways to balance using it whenever you want without it being overpowered and less annoying to everyone in the game.

I think they seriously need to scrap this whole AA nonsense. And sprint as a persistent ability. Terrible, terrible idea.

Why is Camo not a Power Up like it was back in the day? There was nothing wrong with it! Now, people camp with damn Active Camo because they spawn with it and don’t have to risk their own skin to gain an advantage!

Old style is so much better then new style .

Being able to spawn with camouflage is not a good idea play BTB and 8 people go camo –

Powerup Pickup.Ya know, like in a real halo game.

They need to make Active Camo better than it was in Reach as a Powerup, make it that you can move around quickly and still be invisible. Unlike where you remain invisible crouch walking

AA. I mean if it acts like older halo titles where movement doesn’t reveal you, consider the fact that we’ll have an AA AND sprint, you’ll be like the predator running around. You can’t just say how it should be without considering the other variables, or else you’ll just end up with overpowered element.

yes this is 343’s oddest decision yet to think it would be good in a loadout. not even sure what else to say.

IMO camo is more balanced then sprint, it is the only one i start with, unless it is not available, then i use hologram.

i prefer halo 3 style game though.

I think you’re confused with what’s being said… Since it’s still an AA it has to be balanced so it’s not like what you’re saying.

What this thread is suggesting is that it goes back to only being a powerup on the map that people have to fight over like you would the Rockets, etc… NOT something you start with.
