Needs to be a power up again.
I have to disagree, I like it as an AA. I do wish it resembled Halo Reach’s. I miss the red dot jammer instead of the blue dot jammer.
Yeah I agree Halo 3 had it right.
I prefer the Halo 2 version, 15 seconds, long recharge, sorta like an AA
I preferred the equipment version of AC. Works for 10-15 seconds, and you can only use it once.
Or the Halo 2 version which only lasts 5 seconds but you can use it indefinitely. The first is obviously the more balanced, though.
But another thing is in Halo 2/3 It actually WORKED. People never see me when I use it. But in 4/Reach people always see me…
It needs to be a powerup and it needs to function like it did in Halo 3; consistent invisibility and no silly radar jammer. There should at least be a custom game option to make that happen, but knowing 343i… it’s not bloody likely.

They never listen to us about the important stuff…

That’s because moving isn’t encouraged with Halo 4/Reach Camo AA, they want you to camp. Otherwise it won’t work.

Halo 2 kinda sucked, as you were still pretty easy to spot, even when still.
Halo 3 was perfect.

Agreed.
I think that AC in REACH and Halo 4 sucks. It should work exactly like Crysis.
You are completely invisible always (like Halo 3). But the faster you move the quicker it drains (like Crysis).
AC Fixed. It could last say 30-60 seconds when not moving or crouching.
And if you sprint 10-15 seconds.

Umm no. That wouldn’t work well, you need to not encourage camping with camo. It’s a cheap tactic that takes no skill to use and offers too many advantages. If anything it should last longer when you are moving, and only last 7-10 seconds at most.
Make it 15 seconds completely invisible even with movement and fighting with no radar jam. There done. Also a power up
Ive mentioned a way to fix active camo in my thread herehttps://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst216631_How-to-fix-AAs-final.aspx
Sorry the stupid tablet copy and paste thong was blocking the hyperlink so I couldn’t put it into one word
I think we all agree on this.
If any main Halo game wants to be taken seriously as a Halo game to the same degree as the original trilogy, then it absolutely must have an equal starts/map control base.
There’s no way around this.
Active camo needs to be a pickup/powerup if it is going to work well with Halo.
There’s nothing wrong with being someone who incidentally doesn’t mind armor abilities, but remember that the core gameplay of the original trilogy is what the fanbase (in general) will judge a main Halo game by.
So no amount of “fixing” them will go down well if they still don’t comply with the equal starts/map control nature of Halo.

I also feel this way, but 343 is going to have to cater to people who started with Reach and H4 now, so the chances of AA’s disappearing completely is unlikely. I was hoping for a return of equiptment from H3 to substitute for AA’s since it was a one time use that spawned on the map, but Im not sure if people would go for that. As long as there’s a classic playlist without AA’s though, I will be content.
With regards to camo, overshields, speed, and power boost, they should all be pickups that spawn on the map.
Only crybabies would say yes to this
i am fine and it works better with aa. They are not hard to spot.
If it’s one time use or encourages movement and takes you out when you fire, it’d be better
Just give a balanced version of Halo 2’s Arby camo that encourages movement and we’re good. Camo otherwise isn’t a huge deal in Halo 4, if I get killed by a camo user, so what? I’ve died thrice as many time with a sniper round to the face. Should I start complaining snipers should be taken out of the game or made into very rare map drops?
