Active Camo is still glitchy

ok so why is it that recently all camo ppl I run into dont show up in my radar at all??? its bad enough they are invisible but I dont even get a warning they are close? look 343i I play your game on a daily basis and try to support Halo 4 as much as possible but you guys/gals need to stop working on Halo 5 and try to fix this game first. As a customer I expect more than this but I settle for what you give because most of your employees are new to making a HALO game but I dont how much longer I can stand all these flaws this game has had since day 1.

They need to make camo a pick-up. Load out based camo is broken.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! but I doubt they will do it.

Not sure if what you describe is a camo problem or a camper problem. My guess is a little of both, since campers love camo. If you don’t get a heads-up on your radar before you die, that would be a camper who activated camo at the last possible second and you didn’t have time to notice it on your tracker because you were busy looking where you were going, or scanning for targets, or fishing that dropped pop-tart out of the sofa cushions (I hate when that happens). Just remember, campers are people too, and while they can be invisible, they can’t do it for long. And they can’t fly or do any of the other cool stuff other people do. They just camp. And remember where it happened, 'cause it’ll happen there again. And again and again. They love their camping spots.

Actually, I believe it is a glitch to camo in general that the OP is referring to. The player, when crouched and in active camo, the blue dots do not show up on your radar or the player with camo activated at all. All that shows on your radar is an intermittent single blue dot, and the active camo player has full use of his/her radar. Whereas before their radar would be scrambled as well, thus to give them a slight disadvantage in being in camo. Now it is an added advantage that was discovered quite some time ago, but to my knowledge 343i has not commented one way or the other.

I give you that sometimes I am not paying enough attention to my radar. But the camo ability is very frustrating to deal with already. At least before you could know the general area the player was in when camo was active. Now, unless you happen to see that single blip you’re pretty much as good as dead.

I really don’t believe this should be in the game, and should be fixed. However, with how long it is taking 343i, and the fact that I haven’t seen it mentioned in a Bulletin or a response to it by an employee, I don’t think it will. They have admitted they wanted to lower the skill gap, and maybe this was one of the ways they decided to do just that.

We just have to watch our radars even more closely. In a way it has actually helped me do just that.

Good to know. I’ll test this out the next time I play. And promise not to abuse it. Too much.

Yeah the problem is not the campers its the fact that they are camo but the radar shows no indication of a camo player in the area. Its happening more often now and I noticed it when the game first came out but I wasnt worried about it but lately Im dying a lot more because of it.

Great Recon! I have helped to create another camo camper. Have fun buddy, but not too much.

Yeah Spartan 116 I noticed it early on too and was told it was part of the Wetwork loadout. Like I said it has helped me be more aware of my radar. It is still annoying though.
