I was wondering why half the time it seems like an enemy using active camo does not register all those blue dots on the radar. I was under the impression it was something that was always supposed to show up so people couldn’t easily camp with it. Am I just missing something that makes them go away or is it broken? Also, it seems rather unfair that you can have stuff like the Boltshot charged while invisible, without it making a sound. This game just seems to be trying to encourage camping with it’s current rate, which you’d think the opposite with them trying to cut down on grenade spam by making it so enemies don’t drop grenades.
The funny thing is that they do drop grenades if you have the right armor ability to pick them up. As far as I know, the dots are always supposed to appear, although they should have been red like they were in reach to at least serve some purpose other than saying “OVER HERE ALL BY MYSELF!” at least with the red dots you don’t know if there are other people with them or not, while still announcing their presence. Just my 2 cents. I don’t think I’ve seen active camo without the dots yet, even if the camo person was crouching, so maybe it’s a bug? There is also a possibility that it’s a mod… It’s hard to say though really.
Well yeah I know about the grenade thing but it forces people to use a perk for them. And I’ve seen it quite a bit where people were invisible and not showing up with all the blue dots.
use promethean vision homey.
I do, I’m just wondering if anyone else has seen this glitch. I turn on Promethean vision when I see all the blue dots, but sometimes it doesn’t show them. As far as I can tell the blue dots should always be there.
Blue dots are dumb, whats the point of even calling it radar jammer… you can clearly see that its not fooling anyone. 343 needs to change it back to red.
oh gotcha. nope i always saw the dots there and they dont randomly show up and disappear to my knowledge.
Seems weird that it would only be me. Unless it’s the killcams that are messing up and they weren’t invisible.

This is what I’ve been trying to tell people here. If a person i completely still, they disappear from the radar completely. So they’re invisible in every way. I’ve been invis rocketed and invis shott’d of course. I dunno how anyone could think this is not broken. Unless they’re the people doing it.

PV is blind to them as well. I tested this tonight on exile.
Active camo is fine, if it can bend light around the player why not also radar waves. It’s a stealth ability, allows you to pick your fights and ambush players. It’s for players that don’t like to run and gun but play tactically instead. I don’t believe it encourages camping, simply doesn’t last long enough for camping. It does allow you to recon the area and report to your team. It could be used for camping in Reach because it lasted a lot longer if you didn’t move. It discharges at the same rate in halo 4 regardless of degree of movement.

No, you haven’t.
i have seen this happen before myself, but never knew what caused it. The thing that caught me off guard with it was the fact that i have been shotgunned because of it.
Then again if its caused by you not moving at all I wonder how many people i have butchered due to it?

it lasts pretty damn long and it recharges fast, even moreso if you have the that AA recharge mod. Just saying lol
I hate everyone that uses active camo and Promethean vision.
I only use hologram if you’re curious.
