Hey Halowaypoint,
I was thinking about action sack and whenever I am playing with friends I hate when we get a game we don’t like(snowball fight). I had an idea on how to fix this, and I think that it would be really good. There should be 4 choices of a game, and the people vote on which one they want to play. I know that they did that with the Halo Anniversary, and I think that this is a good fix to make people happier about action sack.
Thanks!

I had the very same idea. My friends and I stray away from action sack due to the same gamemodes we do not favor coming up again and again. This needs to be a thing.
Moved to Halo 5 forum as this was an idea/suggestion and not a support issue.
A voting system in action sack, and Halo 5 in general, would be nice IMO.

They did this in the halo anniversary for maps, so I would assume that it isnt something impossible for them to do. They should do it to all gamemodes in general so we can vote on maps
The problem with a voting system is that the same maps/modes are chosen over and over again, leading to boring, stale playlists. That is why they removed this feature as the series progresses. A veto system is better, and I think would apply well, especially to action sack.

This is a valid concern but there’s a very easy way around it. Instead of voting for a map just have a vote to veto the map and then you’ll get another random map that you’ll be stuck with. While it doesn’t give 100% control over what you play it’ll keep you from playing the same thing over n over

Why did 343 get rid of it in the first place again?

If you ever played a game (I.E. Halo 4 or Reach) that had voting that would be pretty easy to understand. Playing the same (often awful) maps over and over again because they were popular. There are quite a few gametypes I don’t like in this incarnation of action sack, but I’d much rather sit through them occasionally, then have to sit through them every single match because people voted for it.

Fair enough, I can’t argue with that…
BTB on Reach, you mean; Hemmorage, the Playlist?

So true, that got stale so quickly.
No. I was sick and tired of people always choosing the same things. It wasn’t better. It was sickening and irritating.
