Seriously, stupid nonsense aside, this Playlist is truly not what I expected from Action Sack. I’m not trying to throw on previous standards from Halo 3, but it would be nice to have game-modes that are just nonsensical and infantile fun…
Team Sumo anyone? How about Zeus? There are Forge maps tall enough for that surely…
Yet all we have right now is Slayer, Slayer and more Slayer. We have enough of it already, and I’m all for giving people what they want seeing as Slayer is so bloody popular, but you don’t have to make it the only content for this playlist…
And I know they’re adding in more as they go with this Playlist, but the fact these are the launch Gametypes doesn’t exactly fill me with all too much hope for a brighter tomorrow for Action Sack…
I would have settled for Plasma Slaps for Christ’s Sake…[/color]

I went in with an open-mind, I already saw from the Bulletin that it would be comprised of Slayer…
I went in hoping for the best today, only to be greeted with an unstructured mess that not only doesn’t resemble Action Sack in the slightest form, but doesn’t even create all that much of it’s own charm is all it serves as is a bloody Commendation Booster…

Probably they did figure it out, but just wanted to go with their Ordnance version of it, which feels like commendation grind lol. It’s kill ,kill ,kill
Even the past fiesta slayer gametypes at least featured the weapon sandbox (minus 3rd person weapons). I liked the challenge of getting -Yoink- weapons and try to work with them. Now it’s just power weapons, and custom loadouts makes it feel less fiesta…

I don’t mean to make this a 343 bashing circle, but when I read in the bulletin that it was tasking for them to do objective in BTB, I was honestly concerned…
I posted my opinion over at War Games Feedback, but allow me to copy/paste a little but of that over here.
Lightning CTF- It doesn’t appear to be around. It sounds pretty fun though.
Fiesta- Ordnance. Ordnance destroys what fiesta stand for. You should spawn with a Random Primary, random secondary, no AA, weapon pickup disabled. But this… is broken. It ends up being a bunch a people running around with incin cannons and FRGs. It’s not Fiesta, it’s Power Weapon Slayer. And sometimes the Ordnance doesn’t even give you a Weapon at all! Just a power up! I was disappointed in Fiesta.
Binary Slayer- Thruster pack and swords completely destroys and kind of “Binary” slayer this is. When I played it, I thrusted around with the sword and due to the increased speed I was a pretty hard target. I ended up getting the most kills by being extremely cheap thrusting around with the sword. Using the binary Rifle in Binary slayer will get you now where at all. I think the Thrsuter pack should not be infinite, and the Sword should be removed and given it’s own playlist.
Rockets ‘n’ Rails- I don’t have much to say on this one. It reminds me of Splockets from Reach, which I would like to see again. But none the less, Jetpack Rocket fests never really appealed to me to begin with.

Also I think the current state of action sack calls for this.

It doesn’t even take more than a few days to get the Ordnance commendation mastered, and you’ll probably be at the Max rank before mastering most of the others anyway. So, that doesn’t really provide any real bonus.

I spent 4 months on these forums trying to defend 343, but they’ve made that impossible for any human being to do. I would love to thank them for something, but they haven’t done anything worthy of praise, the only innovations they’ve made are for messing simple things up.
I don’t like hating them, I want to see them do something right, but they’ve dug themselves one deep grave.
It may seem negative but 343 happened. They are so adamant on making sure everybody knows its now their halo we cannont have anything that remotely resembles something bungie did.

I know. Fiesta is almost like 343 is screaming at me…

Why not go ahead and post some custom gametypes and their fileshare links into the Official Action Sack Feedback thread? It will help 343i select games/maps for Action Sack, especially if you link some great game types.
As for me, I miss ninja assault. That game was too fun.

I, along with many others, made suggestions about how to fix the major issues of Flood in its feedback thread. So far nothing has even been said about changing the playlist. How will this be any different?
