The Main reason im creating this thread is for 343 to read some of the ideas that run through our minds for action sack.
Main Point Making a good action sack playlist completely made by choice by the community since action sack has always been a community based creation of it’s own.
These are some of My Ideas and Thoughts
- Inceneration Slayer basicaly the use of inceneration cannon’s only 4v4 in maps like haven,Abandon and custom created content.
2.Power Slayer The more you kill the more rewards you get such as double health speed boost or damage boost.
3.Skie Ball we all remember how popular it was on the action sack playlist on reach. well it would be frigging awsome on halo 4.
4.Sumo Slam. good old game type from halo 3 description red blue and green teams get into warthogs and go out into the center of the circle carrying gravity hammers and then they knock each other out of the ring. The Team Remaining in the Hill Zone wins the round it is 5 points to win.
5.multi capture the flag it was a good game in halo reach bring it into halo 4 for big maps only due to the fact there is alot of flags.
idea of the gametype 5 1 flags 1 3 flag placed in center and the 1 flags placed all over.

Hmm…how about a gametype like Rocket Race? or somthing?
or even a slayer version of it? with custom maps or maps that can be usful for vehicle based combat?
Spartan Blasters:Basically Dino Blasters,concussion rifles JetPacks etc. but with Spartans?

I love the sound of that 4 v 4 spartans walking around with concussion rifles and jet packs sounds fun !!

Warthogs flying into an arena?
People swinging hammers at each other to knock them out of the ring?

KOTH Options:
Scoring: Team Difference
Notes: The map should be setup so that no more than 4 hills encompass the entire map. This basically creates a slayer variant using KOTH settings. My original idea was to make the entire map the hill, but with JiP and quitters, if a team were to go down a man they would automatically lose.

I know many are going to be using this playlist for the sake of completing commendations. In that same vein of thought, some form of “Paintball Free-for-all” for the plasma pistol could turn out well. Turn up the damage so that it’s one shot to kill, set everyone to 25 lives, last man standing wins. I could see that turning out well actually, especially with some nice custom maps.

i could imagine it now teams of two one on back with energy sword just the chaos of mongooses crashing and blowing up. I like the idea !!!

Intresting bring out some more creative thoughts 
Yeah some sort of elimination slayer would be cool. Maybe everyone spawns with overshields but shield don’t regenerate. You only have one life, and you can get overshields in ordnance or something. maybe that wouldn’t make a good action sack playlist but I would play it.
343 needs to work some voodoo magic and let players throw it in for scoring, also slam dunks would be awesome with player trait zones near the hoop.
As for steals…hmm maybe make it so only the ball carrier can be killed

teammates spawns on the enemy plate out of everyone’s reach and you have to throw him the ball to score?
I’d like these…
Tug of War: (Team Slayer) - Players spawn with Battle Rifles. Points are gained by killing opponents, but lost by dying. Bonus points are awarded for killing sprees or eliminations. First team to 25 points wins. 10 minute match time limit.
Stab-Out: (Team Slayer) - Players spawn with Energy Swords. Highest score after four rounds wins. Players have three lives each. Three minutes per round.
Flag Shottys: (Capture the Flag) - Players spawn with Shotguns, but no energy shields. First team to three flag captures wins. Your flag must be at home in order to score. 12 minute match time limit, granades on map.
Pit of Joy: (Team King of the Hill) - Players spawn with Energy Swords and 4x Overshields. Static Hill. First team to 150 (200 for Halo 3) points wins. 10 minute match time limit.
Also the one from Reach where a warthog is the hill and both teams fight for it. Can’t remember the name of that one though.
These are my favourite classic action sack gametypes that I’d like back
