Action Sack is SEVERELY Broken

Seriously? All you’re offering is Binary Slayer, Rockets, and Fiesta! Where is Lightning CTF? Or even Rockets n Rails? I’ve been in 30+ lobbies already and haven’t even had the options COME UP for voting. This is stupid. Don’t advertise -Yoink- and then change it. I thought you guys were getting things down, but I guess the past improvements were flukes.

Get your crap together, 343.

UPDATED: I just had the liberty of playing my 1st game of Fiesta. No. Just no. 343, THIS IS NOT FIESTA. You seriously have our custom loadouts? Then you give us instant ordnance each time we spawn? Ok. Guess what? Now all you have is a team with jetpacks, Rockets, Incineration Cannons, and Fuel Rods. Seriously. I’ve never seen anything more ridiculous in my entire time of gaming. You’re supposed to spawn with RANDOM weapons upon respawn, not giving constant ordnance for power weapons. AA’s shouldn’t even BE in this because it breaks how the gametype is played. This is so limited it’s beyond belief. How can you -Yoink- up a classic gametype THAT MUCH?!

Fiesta should be this:
-Random Starting Weapon
-Random Secondary Weapon
-Weapon Pickup Enabled
-Infinite Ammo Enabled (maybe even Bottomless Clip)
-Custom Loadouts Disabled
-Armor Abilities Disabled
-Unlimited Sprint
-3 Second Respawns
-Support and Tactical Upgrades: preferably NONE

Rockets & Rails shows up as just being Rockets.

See, even that is misleading then. They don’t even name their gametypes correctly. Yeah, it’s pretty obvious I’m heated that there’s no Lightning CTF…

I understand, but when you advertise it like it’s the cream-of-the-crop gametype, then you don’t launch with it, then what was the point of it?

They said specifically that it would be coming in the future.

Wow, Fiesta. It’s seriously the most broken thing I’ve ever played. Default Loadouts and instant random ordnance. Turns into Jetpackers with Rockets/Fuel Rods/Incin Cannons the entire match. Not fun.

I was so excited for Fiesta. Then I found out that it was actually Incineration Cannon slayer. They do something right, but always find a way to mess it up. I didn’t like rockets that much, mainly because I have to change my control scheme everytime I play it. I really liked Binary Slayer though.

Exactly. And everyone using Jetpacks just makes the gametype unplayable. I updated my OP with a permanent fix suggestion.

Fiesta is the stupidest of them all!

Three times on the spin after dying and respawning I was given all three “power ups” as my ordinance… Suffice it to say someone with a Jetpack and IC ended my life. So I get the weapons I start with, and a powerup… to combat the immense amount of explosive weapons and jetpackers using them…

You either make it so that you WILL get a weapon after spawning not just powerups, or you remove ordinance and make people start with whatever weapon they spawn with!

Too much heavy ordinance in Fiesta. Part of the fun was having to deal with the crappy spawns. Now the good stuff comes way too easy. Having a choice of 3 plus Requisition make it that much worse. Loadout weapons need love too.

Is it possible to kill someone with the ordinance drop itself?

Yes, but they’ve gotta be weak.

And that is why it’s unplayable. It’s easy enough to fix, yet 343 probably has no clue as to why people hate their original gametypes.

Seriously, I don’t care if they recreated Reach’s Action Sack gametypes, because even those are 10x better than these. I’d rather play Rocket CTF and Hog Potato at this point. Hell, even Hockey was fun. I haven’t had a single “fun” time playing any of these current gametypes.

Just realised that Fiesta Slayer is supposed to contain every weapon right, I mean “random” weapons would insinuate that every weapon should be available… Not seen a Shotgun, Needler, Railgun, Concussion Rifle, Beam Rifle, Sticky Dets, Saw in any game I have played in yet…

So, outside of the loadout weapons there are a grand total of 7 weapons we do not see in Fiesta from a total of 16 ordnance weapons…

Correct me if I’m wrong but I have yet to see any of the above weapons in any game of Fiesta while playing it today, on pretty much any type of map including both map packs…

Seems the following line from 343 “Random Weapons. Expect to be killed by everything from the Halo 4 sandbox in one game.” isn’t all that random when half the ordnance weapons, aren’t included in the gametype…

343 is unbelievable.

Meh, whatever. Binary Slayer is fun.

Binary slayer is a very fun gametype.

Fiesta is horrible. It’s supposed to be random weapons not the choice between three powerweapons and adding AA’s to the mix dosn’t work since jetpack players can abuse the rocket weapons and prometheam vision is ruining everything when the players not using it don’t have a radar.

Didn’t play rockets yet.

Binary Slayer is good.

But the rest? Holy cow, I’m not a 343 or Halo 4 hater at all, I actually like the game a lot, but this is a sham of an Action Sack playlist. Fiesta’s just…wow. And I was really looking forward to Lightning CTF today.

I too was looking forward to being able to use the Light Rifle, and not have DMR bullets ripping me to shreds!
