Action Sack has always been known as the true Community Matchmaking gametype. A place where people go to meet others at random, and have fun in a non-competitive scene. Where community-made gametypes and maps are utilized as a whole for the fun of it, rather than to win or lose. 343i jumpstarted it with Team Action Sack and creating the 3 original gametypes to go with it (Rock 'n Rail, Ordinance Fiesta, and Binary Slayer). Later it was updated with new variants of current maps, as well as the Lightning Flag gametype. More recently they reached out to the modding community and had a community-created set of maps and a modded gametype Mini-Slayer, where your player is miniature. However, one problem does exist prominently within this playlist: it is team-based. Everything within it involves teams.
That’s where this suggestion comes in. The modding community is back at it again, giving us gametypes we always desired, as well as gametypes that we would have never expected. All of which don’t involve teams. I propose there is a playlist for Free-For-All (FFA) Action Sack.

Race: This classic gametype from Halo Reach has made its return thanks to those wonderful modders out there. It remains fully functional, as it used to be, however it also has added features, such as changing vehicle and player sizes, and varying from recording completed laps or passed checkpoints. It brings back the days of where you could be competitive and have fun without the guns.
-
Gun Game: Speaking of guns, this next modded gametype is reminiscent of the Call of Duty party game. It functions in a similar way to the COD variant, and allows for usage of every weapon in the game in a single game. The weapon set can also be randomized so that you can’t expect the same set every game. It creates an FFA diversity that isn’t anything like our current Free-For-All playlist.

Sharpshooter: Another mod from similar to the COD party game Sharpshooter. In this game, it is a competition where the weapons automatically change after a set time limit has passed. This creates diversity in the way weapons are used, as you have to learn to adapt with unexpected weapon changes. It is similar to Fiesta, but based on timing rather than spawns. Weapon-swap times can be modified to be faster or slower, and settings can be modified to reward those skilled enough to go on kill streaks.
What do you all think about an FFA Action Sack playlist?
