Dear ANY 343 employee/dev,
Last night my cousin and I tried to achieve the Acrophobia skull/achievement. Sadly every kill we got never counted towards the achievement itself. We ran through 3 hours of gameplay of trying to kill the flying enimes just to never receive any credit. We are DAY 1 Halo players and are really sad to not be able to experience the Acrophibia benefits! We have a stream we can provide to show proof of our misfortunes. What difficulty were you playing the game on? Progress will only count of played on Normal or higher.
We played on Heroic

I also assume you were playing a mission on the Halo 3 campaign? (Obvious questions, but they have to be asked, lol).
Yes, we played in 2 missions specifically! (Crows Nest, The Storm) I appreciate you asking the questions! I’d like to know if it’s a fault on my end!

Hmmm. I would like you to try something for me. Load up the mission Crows Nest on Normal by yourself and play through the mission until you have defeated the first swarm of drones. Save and exit the game and see if it records your progress. It may be that you were playing cooperatively.
I will definitely do that! Unfortunately, from the articles I read, that the event ended yesterday. I’ve heard rumors they’ve extended it?
The event for the skull and nameplate was indeed extended yesterday.
> Starting July 29, at 5pm Pacific, until the launch of Halo 3: ODST on PC, you can unlock the Acrophobia skull and Alliance nameplate by logging into Halo: The Master Chief Collection on your choice of platform. After ODST’s launch, the nameplate will no longer be available while the skull will be automatically added to the menus for everyone to enjoy.
