You need have earned the Achilles armor alongside your company. Joining a company that already has the armor will not unlock it for you.

thanks…i figured that was the deal…looks like im gonna be the only guy with the achilles helmet but not armor
Just search the spartan companies and see if you can find one that doesn’t have the armor yet. You’ll have to quit the current company your in. The system won’t allow you to be in 2 companies at the same time.

Unfortunately no you have to be there before they get the armor even if you joking seconds after they unlocked it

I also assumed that was the case. It’s a fairly difficult armor to unlock/acquire

Nah you won’t it’s a grind and a half but there is still a few company’s out there that are close to Achilles so join them before they get it.

I wouldn’t say difficult, it’s mostly just a time gated grind to earn the Armor & the Helmet

Agreed. Your best bet is to find a company thats close to the armor, and get in before they unlock it. Of course, you could also start your own company and aim for Achilles yourself, but thats a long road to travel this late in the games life. Even then, if you did find players that wanted the armor, I’m sure you guys could accomplish it together

That’s fair. I’m not sure whats required but given that there’s incentive to grind out to rank 152, this could be added as well. Kill two birds with one stone.

I got the helmet with one company first and then joined another and got the armor. It’s possible, just check out the recruiting section and browse the Spartan companies and find one that you will fit in with (most companies have some sort of required playtime or playlist).

Level three completion, of the kill commendation, gets you the armor and completion of level 5 bags you the helmet!

If the company already earned Achilles without you you will not get it
Can anyone suggest a Spartan Company that is active and on its way to the Achilles armor? I’m just finding out about how to acquire Achilles after years of playing. I’m level 149 and play regularly.

If the company has received the armour before you joined then you cannot get it from that company.
