I think it would be funny as there would be a lot of rage from the people who farmed to get it early on. Honestly it doesn’t matter, it has been around long enough that a lot of people have earned it without the bad behavior and those that did (and continue to) farm will still do so for other reasons. The only benefit I see is entertainment value.

No it wouldn’t. People would still farm to boost their stats, because they enjoy it, because they’ve forgotten how to play the game in other ways, because the game makes it easy, and a few dozen other reasons. Achilles contributed to farming imo, but giving it away certainly wouldn’t end it.
The only things that will stop farming are team based matching and fixing the broken spawn system.

I don’t think people will stop farming, but who did the hard work to get the Achilles will probably going mad.
Should be like 5 million RP. I feel that is about how much I earned during my grind for the helm.
im still over a month away from it so wouldnt mind lol. id probably stop playing halo tho

For this pack, 100.000 req points is very cheap imo
If 343/Microsoft released an Achilles Mythic REQ pack for the community, they would make a killing off of it, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon since they did mention it would be a Spartan Company-exclusive commendation completion reward.
I would support that, & the 100k RP price tag!!

Only achievable by Spartan Companies, but I wouldn’t get surprise if this happens.
Our spartan company has managed to unlock the armor and is making good progress towards the helmet. We haven’t farmed so it’s taking us a while, but we’re working at it.

I wouldn’t mind too much to be honest, some people struggle to find a good active spartan company so it would help them out.
I’d be okay with it. I wouldn’t buy it but I’m sure enough idiots would and maybe reduce the amount of @$$holes doing the farming bs in Warzone.

Achillies is team commendation based not personal based.
That being said. I think you would see something similar to the outrage when Helioskrill became a regular gold pack unlock. I think people didn’t understand the “early access” part of that unlock. But I think it would take some of the specialness (if that’s a word) out of it, which sucks. But it may also take out some of the stigma that comes when people see you wearing it (ie.immediate judgement that person is a farmer or part of a farming company).
