I know not everyone is in a company or cares about the Achilles set, but even so, I can honestly say that once my company gets the helmet I’m not so sure I’ll play Halo 5 anymore. And we’re getting close. It’s looking more and more like that helmet is turning out to be just some kind of symbolism. Like Peyton Manning’s new super bowl ring. “Alright! I did it! Now I can be done with this game.”
I’ll probably just drink some Budweiser when it’s all over.
Thoughts?
I like the Budweiser reference.
But since I can’t use the Achillies helmet in split screen or local or offline…I honestly really don’t care about it.
You might as well just quit now lol.
lol I’m not quitting. That would dumber than finishing, since were almost done. Plus I’m the leader of the company. But I’ve definitely contemplated that option more than once.
Just quit buddy give the company to someone who will enjoy the helmet. Abit selfish keeping it and not wearing it ingame don’t you think.
m not quitting. It’s my company that started the day the game came out. And a lot of the people in the company are friends, not to mention, of the 100 people, I’m definitely in the top forbad far as time put in. And its not like theres a set number of helmets so I’m not taking someone else’s helmet who would enjoy it more. They wouldn’t because they’ll join for the last 3-4 weeks of the grind. They didn’t earn it like I will. So the idea of quitting before I finish is ridiculous. I’m just wondering if anyone feels the same way. Maybe ots not Achilles for some people. Maybe its reaching a certain SR or a specific goal for a rank in arena. Whatever someone’s trophy is, are people gonna keep playing this less than spectacular game once they reach their goal. If this were old school halo, I could easily say yes. Today… Not so sure.

its not selfish at all. I will have earned it. And I would absolutely wear it. I’m just saying that once I get it… I don’t think ill feel the need to play the game.

I do understand that though. It’s kind of your goal in the game. Which then, it does sort of make sense. If that’s your overarching goal, then go for it!

So the only reason you are playing the game is a skin that you have no intention of using?
