According to 343’s data “farming” has gone down since the introduction of Achilles.
Those of you who have Achilles, good work I hope you get the helmet as well.
Those of you complaining, either practice, join a Spartan Company and team play, or just stop playing Warzone…
I’ve never even been farmed before. But, it’s pretty obvious those stats are screwed. Why only a week after? If they took stats from a month after that would make more sense.
Then Someone should do that…let the numbers talk.
I agree about the Achilles not having to do with the farming, the numbers seem sounds. But you may want to ask a Moderator to change the named of your thread to something like Achilles Not At Fault or w/e. I had a thread locked for a similar title. Just a heads up
who cares, the complaining does need to stop.
do you honestly believe that 343 wasn’t aware that farming could/would happen when releasing Achilles?! come on sheeple

I really wish people would stop using “sheeple” as a word for christ sakes. You sound like the conspiracy nuts that think the moon landing didn’t happen and that the world leaders are really lizard men. Come on it’s a game. And the numbers make sense too, the farming hasn’t increased with Achilles… it’s the same as at launch. Spawn camping and stat padding are constant in alot of FPS.

That’s the joke.

I don’t think there is an issue other than people need to stop complaining. I like how it’s set up

Unfortunately, 343i essentially “enabled” the people trying to rationalize their farming by providing some very flawed statistics in the last Community Update. Several of us with a bit more comprehensive background in statistical analysis emphasized the errors here:
I’ll like to see it by week until present to see if there’s an upward trend.

Yes, and you can potentially get much more in-depth than that. Quite frankly, their remedial statistics in the last Community Update barely scratched the surface.
For example, if their statistical tracking has enough fidelity that is allows them to show us (throughout the entire life cycle of the game) the average length of time that a team held a triple-cap until the end of the match. I am quite confident that the numbers would show us that after the Achilles announcement, the length of a triple-cap during a Warzone game rose dramatically.
I am happy that they release some findings but the problem with them is that they only for measurements of the week after the announcement.
Achilles armor farming increased over time and if you look at the stats now they’re probably ridiculous compared to what they were the week after Achilles was put in place they definitely need to look at the stats over a month and really need to fix farming and the one-sided games.
We’ve already been over this, two weeks worth of data isn’t enough data to work with. We know that that it took awhile for the clans to set up in response to Achilles. We would need weeks of data before and after the event. They only looked at one of the two warzone playlists, spawn killing is an issue in both. They only took into account kills, not the method of kills, heat maps, duration of the match after a three base lock occurred, or anything else. There is no mention of the P value. There is not enough information to make a proper correlation. Basic statistics are a thing that weren’t used in this case.

Exactly! An excellent short summary of the statistical flaws within the last Community Update. It’s too bad that those remedial statistics added fuel to the fire for the players who who defend farming and seem to have a rather warped perspective regarding what is/isn’t “Unsporting Behavior.”

Shhh. Some people don’t want to see evidence.
