Can you only get it from the special Spartan Company commendation grindfest?

No. Err wait, read the post correctly this time. Yes it only comes from the Spartan Company commendations.

Currently yes, but I wouldn’t put it past 343 to eventually make it a REQ item maybe year from now.

It’ll never be a req item. If it were a req item then people would hardly care about the Spartan Company aspect. A lot of players already have all req items, which means they’d get it in an instant if it was added to the req system.

In the loading screen for Halo 3 matches it told everyone not to give out your login info for recon lol.

Only way to get Achilles armor is if your in a Spartan Company and your company completes all Kill Commendations to the maximum(level 3 kill commendation completion in your company gets you AND your company the armor set, maxing out kill commendations gets you the helmet). FYI, if you do get in a company…prepare to grind for it…A LOT.

JK, I thought it was ironic that it wasn’t Legendary or Mythic yet you can only get it through SC’s.

Why does everyone want Achilles? Does it give some kind of boost to wearers? Is it the look? I personally would prefer MK V Alpha

i mean its only ultra rare, because while it is a grind to get it is very simple. just look up all these ppl grinding away will wear the helmet first day and every game they go into someone else will be wearing it also. in a sense not being that rare at all
