How long will it probably take to get the Achilles Armor and Helmet, like a rough guesstimate?
Depends how dedicated your Spartan Company is for getting it. There have been companies who got it in a couple months and others who still don’t even have the armor yet. I don’t remember exactly, but I think it took my old company three months to get both.

I’d estimate a year with the current player base. Most of the super-dedicated players already got theirs, so there won’t be too many of those left.
We got the armour in 2 months. Currently working on the helmet. Should have within the next month or so. The hardest part is constantly having 100 grinding members for sure.
Sounds like a pain but gives bragging rights and, in my opinion, a mediocre looking armor
It’s not really worth it in my opinion unless you’re looking to get every piece of armor. I only wore my helmet for a few weeks before I was bored with it.
It would depend on the member count of the entire company and the time put into both the armor and helmet which you have to make sure their is enough activity flowing through the company to atleast get the armor first.
It took my last company a little over a year to get the armor and helmet. That’s probably what you will get with the average time people play the game. TBH if you can get just 50 people who actively grind towards it, you would get it faster than a full company where only a few members are actively monitoring the commendations

I assumed it would take a while, but my company isn’t even active yet (3 members) and I don’t think any of us will have the free time.

In that case, your best bet is to find a company that needs members. There are still plenty of companies working toward the helmet.

Personally I wouldn’t worry about the set - unless you want 100% collection completion. In the end I haven’t worn the Achilles helmet once, it looks ok but I just associate it with farmers and toxic players in general. Rage messages + achilles helmet, mm-mm all the flavours man. (I know that especially nowadays these kind of people are but a fraction of a fraction but nevertheless, that’s just my personal illogical feeling arising from individual experiences regarding Achilles. Not trying to make an implication ‘you use achilles, therefore you’re toxic’.)

I had a feeling the helmet would bring toxicity and far too serious players

Umm that’s wrath armor your talking about. in MY experience anyway

I think it’s the most over rated armor and helmet ever. Getting them shows no skill really. It’s just a group grind. There is nothing really earned in H5 that shows skill really. Except the helmet you get if you forged a map that got into match making. That is definitely an accomplishment by individual skill. I do wish there was more stuff unlocked via individual accomplishment. Helioskrill was probably the most valuable armor IMO untill they dumped it in the req system as well.
