No its by Spartan company only but I can almost guarantee you later down the road there will be a variant of it that will be unlockable by req packs

how can you be so sure ?? ill unlocke it everything so i was wondering maybe i have a chance to have it without spartan campnay that will take 1 -2 months
Nope.
Nope, the difficulty in getting it is what makes it Ultra Rare. I’d hope they don’t put any variant of it in req packs either because if I’m able to get it through grinding with my company, I’d be passed that someone got lucky enough to get it in a req pack

“Lastly, there’s the new Achilles Armor set. Now typically, players get new armor pieces and helmets as they unlock more REQ Packs. The Achilles Armor set is different from other armors in that you don’t get it from REQ Packs. Instead, it’s an incentive to found and play with Spartan Companies, the sort-of guild creator tool that launched alongside Halo 5. To get the armor a Spartan Company needs to reach level 3 in all Kill Commendations 343 Industries says. To get the helmet, Spartan Companies need to reach level 5 in Kill Commendations.”
It’s probably listed as ultra rare just because as soon as companies start unlocking it everyone will be wearing it therefore making it less “rare”
also just because its not legendary doesn’t mean anything
I hope not they need stuff you have to EARN not just luck of a req pack.
All available unlocks are assigned a rarity and appear in the REQ section they belong to, even things like Helioskrill and others that are specifically unlocked by certain things. So no, they have specifically stated that it will not be available now, but maybe in the future or a variant of it.
I have been playing halo 5 since day one when it came out, i still have not yet unlock Achilles i wonder why. Does if have be only by joining a spartan company or it can be done on your own when play, and wich game play you do to unlock it? Is it only on war zone map? Because i had played so many matches and i got bored. Now with the new update i an just playing free for all and slayer. I really don’t like that armor anyway and i never had any intention of getting it , I was just wondering how doesit work to unlock it , i only need 2 last armors Challenger and Achilles armor set.

It is a company reward, so you have to be a member of a company to get it. You must be a member prior to the company getting it in order for you to get.

You don’t get it by yourself, a Spartan company has to complete all level 3, then level 5 respectively company kill commendations. Those can be tracked here at waypoint, on the Company profile page.
I think that there should be an Achilles amour set for req packs but it should be a different variant and rarity level so people know that you packed it and not earned it through companys , so people who don’t want to be part of a company can still get it
feels like it takes much to long to unlock it. probably cuz a couple of my companies have fell apart so we had to basically restart but still
Not like there’s anything wrong with the team effort in getting it, but I do wish you could unlock it by chance in a gold req pack anyways just for the sake of it.

You can’t even call it luck anymore. Now it’s just an innevitability for a lot of people. Since the BTB update I’ve pretty much viewed every update as “Let’s see what all I get on patch day.”

Achilles armor set is unlocked only if your in a Spartan Company BEFORE the players in the Spartan Company unlock it. This armor must be earned with teamwork, honor, blood, dead covies, forerunner bits, pieces and disintegrations, and A LOT of bullets fired.
