The grind keeps people playing and coming onto waypoint to check the progress of their company.
I agree that’s it’s difficult to achieve but that’s how it should be with something as exclusive as this.

It still could be, they haven’t shown all the armors yet.
Just wait. Unfortunately, it’ll be available for purchase in a pack they put out for some special event. Give it a couple of months.

To be clear, I’m not overly offended by this. I got my Helioskrill with the MCC Legendary runs and my spartan company will get the chest piece in a month or so, I just think that 343i will release it into the wild before they move on to the next Halo.
No. I hope it never does. I’m not even close but unlocking it via REQ pack defeats the purpose and rarity. Please NEVER 343i.
Achilles variants won’t be added to the game, Helioskrill variants were only added game because vanilla Helioskrill was only attainable through MCC, which required a separate purchase.
If variants are added it will be for game mode and assist commendations.
i could see a new achilles variant being included as a reward for clearing the new WZ firefight on the hardest difficulty, if it has difficulties that is, when it comes out.
The whole point of the armor is it is supposed to be hard to get, what is so hard to understand about that, if you can buy the armor it immediately loses its value, just join a company and play semi-actively.
it’s not even that amazing looking its just a straight up accomplishment and goal in playing the game.

That would be nice to see.
Having company commendations tied into firefight would help with all these threads that are farming related to. It gives companies another thing for spartan companies to compete against of who has the highest firefight score, could be quite competitive.

You’re part of the problem i see, this whole money should be priority is ramming Halo into the ground. You’re no true fan, the fact you’re asking for this armour to be in REQs says it all, get some balls, join a spartan company and, heres comes the big one, EARN IT.

Join a company and grind like the rest of us. If you need a company let me know.
I agree i think it will be available by the last update. They dont care about the select few who end up getting it. The helmet is one more thing that regular people might want and encourage them to buy reqs. If you think they wont do this your delusional. I plan on having it by then dont really care if they give it out to everyone or not.
I’ve almost got the armor so I disagree. (but since im the only one who really plays in my Spartan Company since recruiting anyone to Spartan Companies is pretty much impossible, it’s taken a long time)
