…Can they? This sounds like it would be illegal (in terms of the ToS, and related agreements) and reason for bans and disciplinary actions.

they’re basically selling membership slots in their spartan company before they actually obtain the helmet. but they admitted to having at least rank 3 in commendations already meaning who ever would be dumb enough would only be buying the helmet and only after they actually finished the commendations to earn it. they also said there was 1 free slot. i don’t think it’d be hard to see which company it is if 343 did an investigation

I don’t see a problem in what they are doing at all. If someone is dumb enough to pay, then it’s there fault. They are doing what 343I are doing with REQs in a way, so…lol or what people did with 50 accounts.

I don’t think it’s just wrong.
It probably flagrantly violates either…
- User Agreements, this alone would nail them and have the company disbanded.
- Copyright laws, since they’re selling an element of the game that wasn’t intended for sale.And it’s also a scam, since they’re overlooking the fact that commendation level 3 awards the other piece. People can say that they don’t find it wrong or illegal, but it’s still both.
