Based off the Halotracker.com leader boards, I am currently ranked number three in my country for overall kills with the Spartan Laser. The user that is in second place, is eight hundred kills ahead of my current position. To my knowledge, this particular user is still playing Halo: Reach.
So, should I try and reach this personal milestone or be happy with my third placing?
Go with whatever makes you happy and be realistic.
I’ve never really payed attention to it but go ahead if you feel it’s right I suppose.

Do you like Heavies?
You’re going to have to be voting for Heavies very often if you want a Spartan Laser since it is sorely underutilised on most other BTB maps.
You also have to consider personal enjoyment. I find regular BTB good to awful and if going for milestones that involve a specific power weapon playing with a full party is a good idea since randies will often pickup said weapon or betray for it.
