The achievements for short and long term gain are not working. is any one else having trouble?
Has been posted about multiple times. No one is able to get them apparently.

AFAIK, this is incorrect. It has been acknowledged by 343, but they have not said when it will be fixed. There is no mention of it in the patch notes for this week’s upcoming patch. If you have a source where 343 said it will be fixed in the next patch, please provide a link.
With 121 replies, it seems that the Short Term Commitment Support thread has more posts than any other Support topic. Yet 343 has not yet promised when it will be fixed. I haven’t even seen a promise that it will be fixed, though I do believe it will be eventually.
Unfortunately, 343 is slow at fixing achievements. It took them 5 months to fix an HMCC achievement and 10 months to fix some Halo 4 achievements. And they’ve never fixed some unobtainable HMCC Chinese and HSA iOS achievements.

holy moly nevermind i was wrong but damn 5-10 months to fix and achievement. nice ;(
Guys… you have to show a bit empathy… they only have a few hundred developers and only multi-million sales and manage Microsofts most precious gaming brand… Therefore it is normal to fix tiny bugs in a few months.
If I would be a Lead Manager in Charge you should have to answer probably these questions when you would have to focus your “few” ressources:
- Sales effect?
- Game Brand recognition?
- Community effect?
Achievement issues tend to be zero in all these cases… Guess where achievement bugs are therefore placed in their to do list (excactly… the most important highest priority issue)

Sketch commented on a recent post on the halo wars Reddit saying that this can be patched server side and will be sorted by the time.the next patch is live. Anyone who has already gotten the stuff for the achievements will see it unlock automaticly.
Achievements are nothing to do with 343 and are only Microsofts concern. It’s true 343 came up with all the cheevos but Microsoft monitor them.
What halo 4 achievements are you talking about exactly, I had 100% that game pretty much within a
month of it launching.

Thank you for the information about the server side patch mentioned on the Halo Wars Reddit. Here is a link to the post: “It’s been flagged as a known issue. I actually got an update from the test team today that Short & Long Term Commitment can be hot-fixed on the services side once they get the patch released next week. So, it should be resolved soon after the patch, hopefully next week.”
If achievements are only the purview of Microsoft, why have some 343 patches broken achievements and then later fixed them? For example, Who Needs Them? on HMCC was broken by a patch in May 2015 and fixed by a new patch in October 2015.
As for Halo 4, I am refering to DLC achievements that came before the Champions Bundle Update. There were 9 achievements from the Majestic, Crimson, and Castle DLC that became broken. They worked fine for everyone until a patch on August 19, 2013 for the Champions Bundle. Those achievements then stopped working for many. There was a partial fix on October 9, 2014. There was a full fix on February 4, 2015. I kept a blog about the problem. I include many links to tweets from Bonnie Ross and Bravo. Unfortunately, the forum links are now dead after Halo Waypoint was revamped.
I am not spreading mis-information, except I misrembered the fix only taking 10 months. Apparently it took 18 months for a full fix.

The achievement I’m wondering how to clear is going to be the Skull one. I have them all unlocked and am pretty sure I did each requirement at least twice while getting other achievements, but it never gave me the all skulls achievement and thinks I’m missing two based on the percentage completed. So I have no idea what ones it wants me to unlock again, or if it’s even still possible to get them to activate now.

each mission when you pick it will ell you what you’ve done. It might be the Alice night mission as you need to clear all mines with your snipers and I think there is just enough

I can emphasise with you, but if two glitches cheevos are our worse issue the games not too doing bad is it
I don’t understand how noone that asks for this actually checks the achievements themselves.
I mean, how hard can it be?
It says right there, 0% of the players have unlocked this.
I mean if you cared enough about the achievements you would have checked the achievements no? o.O

Oh man, I remember the painful days of the Halo 4 achievements being glitched. I was one of the main contributors to your thread about it. That took months and months and at the time I had 100% of everything. Painful. (my gamertag was ThePewPewBBQ then, changed it later).

Not at all Crimson. I should have elaborated a little more. Halo Wars 2 has run very smooth for me with minor issues. Halo Wars 2’s biggest issue are these 2 achievements. Yesterday, I said enough and did not do a Daily.
