So I was going through the achievements listed. 1,500gs which is awesome. Many of which seem like repeats with a couple that are new and some that have been removed. The one I was looking for was achieving General rank on XBL which is no longer there unless I missed it. Which is most welcome to me as much as I like grinding through ranks. I haven’t even hit General on regular Halo Wars (I still want to but life keeps interfering) but I wasn’t looking forward to having to grind through the same game twice. So what do you guys think of the achievements? Any that look super challenging? None really seemed too bad. 150 Skirmish wins might take a little bit but not unreasonable.
Also any help/advice on the quickest/easiest way to hit General in Halo Wars would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to get it before Halo Wars 2 hits.
To maximize your EXP gains, you pretty much just have to make sure you aren’t the one loosing the most units. Usually i’d team up with a friend and do deathmatch. A proper strat and you’d be swimming in good EXP.

Awesome man. Thanks for the tip! I have a long way to go. I know the player base boomed a bit when they made it backwards compatible, but maybe it’s died down a bit since.

There’s a tiny amount of new arrivals in the old version of the game, so you should still be good for finding a few games. Sometimes i can still find 1v1 deathmatch games.

Yea that could easily happen. A beneficial event i would say and def worth going for, since DE is due for release within the coming days.
The General achievement is gone - you now have to win 100 skirmish or multiplayer games which is thankfully much easier. Looking forward to playing this again.
If you’ve heard of super turtling, it’s the best way to get to General quickly (if that achievement matters to you). Also super turtling is super fun.

I think the one where you have to play for 24 hours might be challenging

You set up an unbreakable defense, it requires a bit of skill to pull off haha
What a weak achievement list…they kept the very annoying ones like ramming 50 grunts in the first mission,and the new ones they added aren’t creative at all…these should not count towards the halo waypoint achievement leaderboard
Im looking forward to getting all of the the achievements, no matter how repetitive or easy. Nothing like hunting achivements. I did however think there would be a slew of new achievements, but oh wif repetitiveell.

I wanna say no but I can’t remember. I’m too lazy to check again. They are sorted kinda weirdly
