I liked the “Beat the Par Time/Score” achievements, they added a surprisingly large amount of replayability into the game. That and they were a challenge.
I find your example achievements more annoying than anything. They are achievement hunting based things usually added to fill the gaps. I hated the achievement in CE:A where on the 2nd Level where you had to walk instead of drive. It’s a vehicle based level, if you are going to make an achievement on that level make it relevant to the vehicle.

Yeah just Walk for 40min instead of driving 5min achievements are just soooooo stupid but some most of the H:CE achievements were great. imo

Well, I found the CE:A achievements really creative. They found two different challenges for each level, and while that one in particular was a bit more annoying, the other ones were pretty awesome.

I am sure a huge portion of the community would appreciate this.

I’m glad you agree. If any achievement type are to be big, I hope it’s the easter egg ones. We can expect 28ish skull and terminal achievements. And with the step by step easter eggs, we can expect a few more.

Sounds great kind of reminds me of the Halo Reach one where you had to assassinate an elite to survive a normally lethal fall (hope this one makes a comeback).
The other one sounds a bit like the silent but deadly one and quiet challenging and this is exactly what I want achievements to be “challenging” and not “play the game on easy for par times and on Legendary/LASO for par scores”.

Yeah I have but it was more falling from the edge and randomly pressing buttons From this moment I only used the jetpack AA in MP…
A little bit of nostalgia would also be nice by reviving the “Fear the pink mist” achievement.
