Achievements not up?

I don’t think the achievements are live for spearbreaker or serina, they’re not updated for me anyway. Anyone see them on their list yet?

Yea I’m holding off on playing any of the new stuff until they go live since retroing achiements seems to be hard for 343

In the past for some DLC’s it has taken a day or two after its launched for it’s achievements to appear on my list so I assume that’s happening again. I think they wait for the DLC’s to be on fully accessible on the marketplace before they add the achievements. As for having to play the missions twice I don’t think that you would have to because when Sergeant Johnson came out, it took a while for his achievements to be released and I won three games with him before the achievements were added to the game. When I started the game up a few hours later after the achievements were added, I got the one for winning three games as Johnson as soon as the game booted up, so think the game will unlock them for you depending on your stats rather than you completing them in the moment but campaign missions might be different so yeah it might be a risk to play them now without the achievements in the game.

Well the thing is there no guarantee that there will be any extra achievements. If I’m not mistaken…don’t they usually up on a blog or something online before the achievements go live?, well TA hasn’t updated to mention this, haven’t seen anything about new achievements anywhere yet.

I’m just guessing by pattern that there will be achievements for Serina although whether or not there will be any for operation spearbreaker I don’t really know. Yes usually the new achievements will be posted on here via Cannon Fodder I think, but in the past the blog post has come out after the achievements for one of the DLC’s, I think it was Colony if I remember correctly

EDIT: Thanks for the link. The patch forum page has just been updated with the following information: “An issue was discovered with the new Achievements as they did not get correctly published. This is being remedied but please note that currently they are not active and you won’t be able to unlock them. Once fixed, these will not retroactively trigger so if you’ve already beat the Operation: Spearbreaker missions, for example, you’ll need to beat them again in order to get the Achievements.” So I was wrong in my earlier post; don’t play spearbreaker until the achievements are in the game otherwise you will have to play it twice if you want the achievements.

No idea, seems last posts were on the 23rd on blog.

FYI:

> As if the content publish problems weren’t frustrating enough, the team discovered that there was an issue with the new Achievements as well and that has been escalated with the proper folks on the platform side. It should be remedied this morning but currently the new Achievements aren’t activated. (this means that if you already beat Spearbreaker, you’ll need to do it again once the issue is resolved) @ske7ch343

I just got the freeze achievement literally seconds ago so they may be fixed now.

They’re up. You’re gonna have to work for those Legendary achievements.
