I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with achievements not unlocking?? ive done got the skull on outskirts and the sword and still no achievement.
Also does certain skulls disable the achievements?? i didnt have any one just asking for future
Only the 0x skulls disable achievements (The cheat like ones). The 1x skulls does not affect if you get achievements tho. I have a few achievements stuck at “100%… Unlocking” myself, but these should all open after a couple of days/a fix get released,

Also, I’m not sure if this is related in any way but I cant access my player ID.
when that happens to me i just close the game turn xbox off unplug it for 10 secs then plug back n and relaunch game

Is the Scarreb Skull 0x? I was watching an achievement guide in Halo 2 and they recommended having Scarreb and sputnik skulls on.
If they dont unlock give it time. This is not only halo I have had many games do this on the one. It is unlocked but for somereason it takes a while to unlock. I have had a few stay locked and then out of the blue it just pops.
This achievement lag issue started happening, sadly and ironically, after Xbox released the Achievement Tracking app. Some games will pop them normally with no issues at all, but some games for some reason will haunt you for days (or longer) before they pop. Sometimes doing a hard reset/shutdown and then logging back on can resolve it, but in my own case it mostly doesn’t. I tend to try and ignore it now and act surprised when they do “magically” show up finally.
is anyone else having it here you have completed a level or gotten a skull and its registering in game but on the tracker its at like 80% because i beat the whole halo ce campaign on legendary with my buddy and he got the achievements but i didnt

Same here. Somewhat frustrating issue, but obviously isn’t 343 since this happens for any game at the moment.
I had trouble getting the odd achievement at first as they weren’t registering, ever since last nights update I haven’t been getting achievements at all. 343 better fix this damn quick

Scarab skull is a 0x skull and turns achievements off.

Same exact situation here.
According to Ariose999 on another similar forum, the unlock issue is due to a problem with the Microsoft servers and the Achievement Tracking App. So it’s not 343’s fault, but still frustrating. We might have to wait a bit for Microsoft to sort it out but I highly doubt 343 would leave us hanging like that.
I played first level of campaign with 15 achievements not unlocking after it say unlocked
bad glitch needs to attention
Having troubles as well. Was unlocking achievements fine earlier now all of a sudden skulls won’t unlock for me. Hopefully it pops soon.

0x skulls turn off scoring and SOME achievements (obviously scoring related and pretty much anything as far as level campaign completion goes). It DOESN’T lock all achievements though (as many achievement guides correctly state).
My whole achievement app is freezing or stuck loading for long periods of time also (in addition to really laggy achievement pop-ups). But then it’s been the same with other games too since launch. It appears to be the way they’ve [Microsoft] set up achievements to be this generation so far. I really hope they fix these sorts of issues (and I hope them not popping offline is not stubbornly “intended” but rather something they hadn’t got round to in all the tweaks they made to make the console playable offline). I’d rather they thoroughly fix these types of annoying fundamental issues (particularly widespread app crashes for people).
I am having the same problems. All of my family & friends are having the same problems. We just wanted to go through each campaign, beginning with ce, then h2, h3, & h4 - but the achievements don’t pop up, the games crash, if you are lucky enough to connect to begin with. Frustrated Halo Fan.
343 are said to be applying a patch again shortly as they are aware apparently
