Achievements not Unlocking in Halo 3

Hi all,

I picked up Halo: The Master Chief Collection (both for my Xbox One and for my PC) this past holiday, and I’ve been playing through the games in publication order. I’m now playing through Halo 3, and last night I played through the game’s third level, Tsavo Highway. I found the Toughluck Skull as well as completed the level, but both Achievements did not unlock.

I’m playing on Heroic, was signed in to my account, and was connected to Xbox LIVE the entire time. Note I started the level last week and resumed my Checkpoint last night. Does anyone know why they didn’t unlock? All other Achievements through the first two games and the first two levels of Halo 3 worked fine. The game’s main menu even shows I have 4 chapters completed (including the Intro).

Try a hard reset of your Xbox. This normally works most of the time. If not, the only other solution I can think of is to get the skull again and complete the mission again.

Thanks for the link! Do you know if, once things are restored, the Achievements should pop?
