So yesterday, I completed Halo 2, solo on the Heroic difficulty. After the last cinematic where Gravemind is talking to Cortana, I noticed something, no achievement pop for completing Halo 2. I thought this strange since it registered that I’ve completed all the missions on Heroic in the mission select screen. Then when I was going through my achievements, the same thing is the case for Halo 1. I have every mission completed on Heroic, but got nothing for completing the game. I don’t know what the issue is, but this seems to also reflect in my career as not have even played Halo 2. Anyone have any thoughts on a fix?
I’m in the same situation, the game recognizes all the missions as completed but does not unlock the achievements. Quite annoying…

Go on your Halo Waypoint record. See which missions are not counted as “done”.

After I did them all notice changed, not even after I re-synced the MCC data. BUT, I wanted to try a thing. Replayed the game on normal this time, beat the level Waypoint was marking as “undone” and it unlocked me all the missing achievements, including the legendary completion of the campaign.
