What kind of achievements do you all want to see in H5 Guardians?
Launch yourself 500 feet in the air without use of a jetpack, man-cannon or flying vehicle.
> Launch yourself 500 feet in the air without use of a jetpack or flying vehicle.
Mancannons are allowed?!
Campaign achievements. Only a few of those annoying MP ones.
I would like to see some achievements that aren’t only challenging but unlock things for your Spartan in MP. (and hopefully Elite)
Skulls. This time the achievement should be for collecting all of them instead of one achievement for one Skull.
Fly the Broadsword through the canyon with out getting hit by enemy fire or dying.
Play through the whole mission with out being spotted
Complete a whole mission while riding a Moa.
If they came to hear me beg…
I don’t know but I never felt so rewarded from an achievement until I unlocked this. I spent 2 1/2 hours jumping off that cliff trying to kill that elite.
Boxer
Melee kill 3 brutes/elites in under 10 seconds. ( I don’t know if they will be enemies in halo 5 ). 10G
> Launch yourself 500 feet in the air without use of a jetpack or flying vehicle.
That would only be the case if Jetpacks were in Halo 5
Please, no ridiculously impossible multiplayer achievements.
“Get an overkill with a Spartan Laser while airborne on the back of a Mongoose in Team Doubles on a Thursday. – 5G”
I don’t have a problem with challenging achievements though, just as long as they aren’t based on pure luck.

LOL!!
100% agree
Challenging is different then just plain dumb or frustrating!! I HATE multiplayer achievements in ANY game. You have all these morons just running around trying to get them.
For ex. something like kill 15 enemies with a pistol in one match… then you have morons just using a pistol all dam game and it takes away from actually having a REAL match. It’s the same with rewards and stuff. I saw more kids doing crap like this in Halo 4 due to all there max out this weapon crap just to try and get that achievement or unlock that armour or something.
For Multiplayer, I’d like to see 2 kinds of achievements:
Basic/Easy Achievements that teach players the new mechanics and try out the new stuff and play on all the maps.
Skill Achievements that can actually happen without needing to get a party on another team to cooperate.
At the very least, I don’t want to see the kind of achievements that has appeared in the DLC packs that ask for very speecific things that won’t happen without asking a player to help set it up.
LASO all campaign missions within a year of the Halo 5 release date.
1000-G
> LASO all campaign missions within a year of the Halo 5 release date.

Seems ridiculously easy for 1000 gamerscore.
Ones that are not broken.
Also, I hope that the DLC achievements wont be tied to a certain map.
Complete the campaign solo on legendary. Acquiring that achievement felt so rewarding at the end of the Halo: Reach and Halo 4 campaigns!
I’d prefer if they were all campaign-based and progress-based. I would hope there are no super specific multiplayer achievements because that just promotes people to try and boost for them. Though another way to do multiplayer achievements is to also have a single player option for them as well. I remember Mass Effect 3 doing this to great effect, examples being:
- Unwavering - Finish all multiplayer maps on Gold or all single-player missions on Insanity.
- Peak Condition - Reach level 20 in multiplayer or level 60 in single-player.
- Tour of Duty - Finish all multiplayer maps or all N7 missions in single-player.
It gives players a chance to earn it with the playstyle they prefer. Not everyone plays for multiplayer, and not everyone plays for single player, so this kind of set up benefits both types of players.
