In the latest blog post it said customization unlocks in the flight will not carry over to the finished game. Is it the same for Xbox achievements? Or can you score gamerscore in the flight built?

I think that everything will be erased after game launches, except gamescore on Waypoint. But that’s just my opinion, we’ll se what Monitor will reply on this.

I highly doubt the flight will have achievements in it. No past flights have.

Agreed. I have never known flights to have achievements. That does not mean it will never happen, but I think it’s unlikely.

A few different game betas have had achievements that unlocked when full games came out. But 343 isn’t one of those studio’s

For sure. I also remember the preview version of PUBG did that, it stacked them and when the game came out of preview the ones you earned in preview unlocked. But like you say, 343i don’t do it.

I did the Reach Beta and Halo 5 Beta and they never had achievements up for them. And this is more of a late Alpha build as they mentioned in the Insider Article they are actually a bit further along in development then what we will be playing but they want to test out some things on this build.
I mean it would be cool that they tested achievement unlocks to make sure they “pop” correctly. MCC had a lot of achievement issues…especially for the ones like “don’t get in a vehicle…” type achievements.
maybe just challenges to complete that will unlock some customization options for full release.
