I just want to thank you so much as now I have gotten all achievements in halo 4!
I don’t think they were exactly “fixed”. But rather that they were unfixable. So I’m thinking that the easiest solution for 343 was to simply unlock them for all DLC owners as a way to compensate for their screwups in regards to the way they handled the DLC distribution as well as the technical issues/glitches with the cheevos.
I wouldn’t really call them fixed but rather distributed…either way at least they tried to fix it.
In the end this was an okay solution for a last resort.
In no way would I call this a ‘fix’. I still can’t unlock the achievements.
did they just unlock dlc achivement for everyone?
Same for me tha achievement poped up when I started the game, thank you 343i I must admit I did not believed that they will fix it so I am really surprised and happy 
Started up Halo 4 on Sunday morning and BAM, all the achievements associated with Crimson, Majestic and Castle DLC unlocked - 26 of them!!!
Even if the damn achievements were not bugged, who would have been able to get them? We only get DLC gameplay once every two or three months, and most of them could only happen by accident rather than pre-meditated.
I only needed the airborn warthog kill, and as none of my friends still played when they put up the Squad DLC playlists, it made it trying to get one super hard with a bunch of randies who all their own things in mind. Just glad I got it to be honest. If only they did this for Reach too, seeing as that one won’t be on MCC.
When I heard they were fixed I thought “Oh well I’ll never get them anyway” (I was missign the pulse grenage double kill and the scoped assasination one) so I was really pleased when I popped H4 in to get Orbital Swift and got the 2 Achievements i was missing.
Just hope DLC will be implemented differently in the future so I can use the maps for things other than customs.

I unlocked the castle and crimson ones but not the majestic and champions ones. help me please
This seems to be a really wierd fix for these acheivements. I was given all the achievements for doing nothing. I don’t even have a gold subscription at the moment and I got eight acheivements for nought??? Very strange…
the game just randomly handed over like 8 achievements did i unlock those before or did they fix the achievements
That fix was pretty sweet, I hopped on Halo 4 again to get a few games in and BOOM 165 gamerscore unlocked!
Does this fix work for the Bullseye maps as well? Pitfall/Vertigo
The only ones unlocked for me were the Crimson achievements.

It does not. The achievements for that pack were never glitched.

Do you own Crimson and Castle? If you don’t, the achievements will not unlock.

You have to purchase all DLC maps to unlock the achievements
With this achievement thing I have all 4 DLC map packs and I got all achievements I needed for Castle and Crimson but I didnt get any for Majestic? Is it because I didnt get any Majestic ones before hand?
