On Halo Reach I know of at least 2 bugged achievements I have completed that task for many times but they will not unlock. Specifically the Mind the Skill Gap and Your Heresy Will Stay Your Feet achievements from Tip of the Spear. I have had several other Reach specific achievements work just fine but not those 2 and I am wondering if anyone else has been having a similar issue and if there is an easy solution to it.

Deleting the file specified on the support site worked but it is a little bit frustrating that it also deleted my progress on playlists.

I know the support site did mention this as a disclaimer. Out of curiosity did you create a backup of the file and restore it?

Yes, I did create a backup file and restored it afterwards but playlist progress and customization options were still reset. I wasn’t working on any legendary or LASO playlists so it isn’t much of an issue.
Well that certainly is a relief then! Still sorry you lost some progress on your playlists. Knowing this I’ll be sure to highlight that before suggesting that article in the future.
