Today I set out a Noble quest. I left my Edmonds apartment and began to run east, rounding Lake Washington and finally, after over 14 miles I arrived at 434 Kirkland Ave. Naturally, I pressed the button that said “Visitors press button.” A camera right below that button glared at me menacingly… Nothing. An oriental woman sitting on the stairs smoking stood up and asked me, “Do you work here?” I replied “No. Do you?” She replied “Yes.” Jealous of her awesome job I asked if there was any way I could go in and meet someone from 343. She reminded me it was Sunday. I asked if I came back on a weekday if I could go in. Sadly, she told me no, not unless I was with Microsoft. Heartbroken and exhausted I went to the nearby QFC and waited for my girlfriend to drive over and pick me up and I thought to myself, "Should’ve listened to BS Angel when I asked if there was a way to see 343 and she said the offices were closed; but still I ran from my place to 343i which in my opinion is an awesome feat. But next time (Which is unlikely) I think I’ll not go on Sunday and wait for an invitation from an employee. But, the woman was super friendly and I got a great workout.
That’s pretty cool dude.
A most excellent story, bro.
I got say I envy you for living so close to 343’s studios. Next time, you should see about run to Bungie’s new HQ.
First off, awesome! Second, bring food next time and I bet it might help your worthy cause. I have actually considered making the trek up there from Oregon, but Im too lazy LOL
A noble quest young one! A noble quest indeed!
Good for you OP, but in all seriousness, I wouldn’t advise trying that stunt again…
I’d say this is an achievement with 20G. Make it in to 343i, thats a 50G achievement. There a challenge for you waiting to be accepted.
That’s awesome, dude! Much envy upon you. You may not have gotten to go in, but you at least live close enough to them! As an achievement hunter, I salute you!
Something tells me it was a cat in disguise as it is Bs Angel’s way of keeping out intruders. It wouldn’t surprise me if during the videos of Frankie, there was a cat holding a gun behind him.
Actually a cool story, bro!
Damn you ran all the way from Edmonds?! No sir, I don’t even like driving that far, much less even thinking about running.
I, too, have been thwarted by the smoked-glass door at 434 many a time. They also have an auxiliary building close by. Did you check that one out too? (Far lass exciting, though).
Next time, bring a kitten with cupcakes tied to it’s back.
They can’t resist.
That’s quite a story, but seriously, I would not recommend trying that again. They have security for a reason, they want to keep unwanted people out of their building. You probably shouldn’t try it again unless you are invited.
I wish I could do that, sadly I live in Denver. I’m thinking about going up there just to see all of the gameing stuff lol
