I was playing 1 flag CTF on Highlands earlier today in Squad DLC and we blanked the other team (zero flag carry time) and yet I didn’t unlock the achievement even though the description says Defiant for it. Any ideas why I didn’t get it? Can it be unlocked retroactively lol?
No on the unlocking retroactively.
Are you sure you were on a Defiant map? (So Highlands or Uplink/Condemned?) And was there a host migration? This achievement is notoriously glitched and if the host migrates, it negates any chance of getting the achievement.
Like it says in my OP it was 1 flag on Highlands and no host migration, no one quit and no black screen. I knew it wouldn’t be unlock retro, I was being wishful.
Is the achievement called Return to Sender?

I’ve heard some people talk about a glitch where touching the enemy’s flag will sometimes invalidate the achievement as well. It looks like that’s what happend to you.
So yeah, guess you had rotten luck that game.
