Playing on Windows
Just got the game and everytime I load the game all the letters in white are twitching out and the mouse is moving really slow PLZ HELP… I tired lowering all the setting down and nothing works I don’t understand, my PC runs every game in 4k and over 60fps so I don’t understand why this is happening. ive tey to just play it and then it crashes
So I just sat for an hour playing Terminus Firefight on solo trying to unlock the remaining achievements I need in that game mode. Was -Yoinking!- raging when nothing unlocked. However I just looked at my achievements and see I got 7 achievements during that playthrough but it’s just a case that they didn’t pop on screen upon completion. Anyone else had that problem today?
Also I have been sat at 91% on tracker for A Lot Extra for weeks even though I have done all the objectives twice. I know this is an ongoing issue but just noticed it’s suddenly changed to 94% even though I haven’t been playing the base campaign recently. What the -Yoinks!- going on?
I cant even play this game i bought 4 days ago… its laging when it starts and then crashes when i try and play anything HELP

The bad news is Long-term Commitment (complete at least one weekly challenge for four weeks in a row) is still glitched and i’ve completed every weekly challenge for !!EIGHT WEEKS!! in a row. Reading through the achievement hunter websites there’s several other people who have the same problem and have been doing a weekly challenge for TWELVE and even SIXTEEN weeks without it unlocking. Seriously how can this game have so many glitchy/broken achievements and no official word from the developers about how long it’s going to take to fix them if ever?!

Yeah those achievements hadn’t been unlocking for me for the longest time. I did get Long Term Commitment eventually though after 5 consecutive weeks of grinding. I think clearing your cache helps.

Oh really? Thanks for the tip! Do you mean just the game’s cache or the whole consoles cache? And when you cleared the cache how long did it take before the achievement popped for you? Thanks.

I cleared only the consoles cache, didn’t go near the games cache. I did this in August, but didn’t commit to doing both achievements until September, that’s when I unlocked them both
Still not getting a lot extra and I have done all the secondary missions.
Help please. This is frustrating.

Right, so I had a bunch of level completion ones that did not unlock when I got the game a few months ago. I believe it’s because there was a bug where if you quit the level on the loading screen, it messed up the achievement tracker. Because of this, only about half the level ones unlocked and the campaign completion one did not unlock. I stopped playing the game for a while until all the bugs were ironed out.
There was an update a few days back for Xbox One X and that includes a lot of fixes but not all. As soon as I started up a level, my level completion achievements popped up. Because of this, my campaign completion one popped too. I had only done an easy playthrough to set myself up for the Legendary one, so that’s why only one popped. Still gonna wait for the fix for the achievements for the objectives before I go back into the game though.
Check Games and Apps for an update. It should be there.

Hi, since devs seem don’t know how to fix A Lot Extra achievement, I am gonna install the game on my pc and see what I got there. Maybe like this I can force my console to “redownload” the game data.

So the only achievement i still need is Long-term Commitment, it’s been 9 weeks now of doing a weekly challenge every week and still no achievement, this week after having to wait an hour for the latest patch to download i played the game for over 3 hours doing vs a.i. and on the 9th and final game i needed to finish to see if the achievement would finally pop, TEN SECONDS away from the final enemy base being destroyed the game hard locks up and crashes?! When i load the game back up the weekly challenge counts as being done but still no achievement!!! I have no idea whether it’s the same old glitch or a brand new one that’s now screwed me out of getting Long-term Commitment, sigh. As a test i did another one of the weekly challenges and surprise, surprise it still didn’t pop.

The biggest key to these weekly and daily achievements is to be sure to do a hard reset on your Xbox before attempting.
I had the same issue as you, but once I started hard resetting before completing a weekly achievement the progress started to track cleanly and I had the achievement three weeks later.

Thanks for the tip however i never leave my Xbox on standby i tell it to do a full power off. The only thing i haven’t done is pull the power cable out of the back afterwards if that’s what you mean by a hard reset?

I always did a full hard reset where I actually unplugged from the wall for a few seconds to discharge the capacitor. Then I’d boot up straight into Halo Wars, and never open another app until I finished a weekly milestone.
