Update: I ran through it 3 more times and eventually did all objectives on legendary and got gold all in the same run and it finally popped. A little more effort than was needed but I finally went overkill on it and got it to unlock for me. I had to continue to press for it in the same session because I knew it would probably reset again tomorrow if I went out of it. Just glad to finally have it done. Thanks anyway.

Hi “MoreInfoNeeded”,I’d really appreciate it if you could look into my achievements for me. My game tells me I have all skulls unlocked but I do not have the achievement. I’ve also tried the two achievements for completing successive challenges daily and weekly to no avail.
If a campaign reset, which would enable me to collect the skulls again, will fix it, I’d appreciate it if you could sort that out for me.

MoreInfoNeeded told me I’m missing 7 skulls although I have 15/15 on waypoint and on console. I asked for an explanation to being told I am missing 7! Was asked to replay the missions completing the skulls objectives which I have done to no avail. Been waiting days now for a response so good luck. I wouldn’t mind a full reset of game as well to try Collecting a Dream and A Lot Extra again, but only one more playthrough then I am done with this game for good if achievements dont unlock. Please let me know if you have any luck resolving your problems. Thanks

The daily reset one I have to write some script to show in a more decipherable way, so I can’t do that one right now.
Some hopeful news here. A dev is working on a fix for a bunch of the achievement issues now, unfortunately, this means it won’t make it into ATN. And as production goes, it may not make it into the game at all, as he has to finish it, and not get tasked to do something else. I’m not sure which ones it will fix yet.
This is not a promise, just that someone is working on it, hopefully he is able to figure out a solution and can get it into place for us.
Trying to champion this for you all, but the effort may get squashed… then again I like to think it will make it. Ill give more updates when I hear more. Maybe I should find out his favorite booze. Then again, I’m not sure if we need any drunk coding.

Can you explain why when I check my stats either in game or through Halo Way point that it states that I have collected 15/15 skulls then? As I have, according to the game, already collected the skulls, they no longer appear during missions.
If you could also explain how I’ve managed to unlock an achievement for completing a mission with all skulls activated if I haven’t unlocked them? I can tell you how, because I have unlocked them. I have them all available in game, and my stats clearly show 15/15 skulls collected.
How can I rectify this if my game no longer provides skulls as it believes I’ve already unlocked them?
Can you reset my campaign data from the back end? I’ll begrudgingly re run the missions and re collect the skulls if this will pop the achievements, but I’m horrified by this terrible show by 343 and the reaction to it. I also think its an absolutely mockery that your company are pumping out paid for dlcs so regularly, without focusing on fixing your broken game first.

Individual mission progress on Waypoint also seems to only reflect my first playthrough. It shows only one gold medal, when in-game shows gold medals for every original campaign mission (I have the achievement for this as well).
You contacted me on 9/11 saying I was missing the Annihilator Skull on the backend. Sadly, I tried replaying the mission by myself and was not able to earn the achievement after completing the requirement for the skull. I have not been able to find anybody that has not completed the campaign yet to run me through the mission but am still looking. Thanks.

for what its worth, I played through with a couple of people co-op that didn’t have the skulls I was missing and it never worked. If you really want to try, get on trueachievements and look for people that recently got the mission before the one you need, check their mission progress on waypoint, then hit them up on xbl. was able to get a few helpers that way.

I don’t know how the data got lost on the backend, I can only tell you what I see when querying it. That being said, since you are missing a bunch, I think you might just want to wait and see if the fix makes it in. I’m hopeful it will be soon after we release Awakening the Nightmare. If you don’t want to play the waiting game, I believe others had luck with playing in a Cooperative game with someone who hadn’t gotten the skulls hosting the game, they were both able to get credit for them when completing the requirements. I cannot reset anyone’s progress, as I don’t even know if its possible the way Creative Assembly has implemented it. I wish I could cure the wound, but unfortunately I can only provide advice on how to dress it.

“Long term commitment” seems to be glitchy for many players. Some report getting it before they should, some claim to have not unlocked it and surpassed the requirements. I believe I’m in the latter group. In fact, it’s my last Halo achievement! Hopefully it unlocks eventually.

Wow, that’s certainly strange. Thanks for the reassurance.
I am missing the “A lot extra” “Palmer’s pure Gold” and “Short Term commitment” still has not been unlocked though I have unlocked “Long Term commitment” I have done all the bonus and optional objectives as well as have a gold medal on all missions.
Its also weird that I have 0 objectives done on Spearbreaker yet have Gold medals and all achievements unlocked for that DLC. That may be something different though.

Hey, MoreInfoNeeded, any update on this fix now that the ATN patch has been released? Is there a chance that it may be released soon?
I can confirm that the “Collecting a Dream” achievement popped after starting up the game with the “Awakening the Nightmare” patch. I did not have to buy the expansion for this to work.
