I realize this might cannibalize responses to my other post, but I thought about it as I was writing about a campaign matchmaking playlist, and felt it was different enough to warrant it’s own post… so here’s my thought… Achievement hunting is fun. And there’s a wealth of them to do, solo and co-op, in Halo 5. So why not make a playlist where it gives you and the others on your team three achievements to go after, and give you the option to vote on which to pursue? Again, you could award XP just for playing this, but basically it could give you the three options, maybe a quick blurp on how to achieve them, and would place you in the level and start location required to get them. How much fun would that be, not just for achievement hunters, but for people wanting a change of pace in the game? Yeah, let’s storm the hill with an Elite general, or make it through that whole level without using smart-link together! Thoughts?

Thought about that - but they’re different topics / playlists I’m talking about - and combining them into one post I felt would make it confusing for anyone wanting to discuss either / or. This way if you’re interested in one or the other, you can post on that thread, not the same one and it get lost in the shuffle.

Don’t see how they’re really different. You get achievements in campaign, one can still get achievements even in matchmaking campaign, it’s not like people never did it before. Honestly, having a campaign matchmaking would be one of the benefits for achievement hunters.
Camapaign matchmaking would be good. Though you could probably find people on trueachievements who are willing to help.
you mean like adding more achievements to the game? or just in game custom achievements. You can always just use the looking for group option.

That’s kind of how I see it. It would be a nice feature. I’ve run some co-op campaign with friends and a couple of LFG posts; but it would be nice to have some kind of matchmaking if only to meet some new people. It’s a shame that seemed to die after only one game.
I would love to have campaign matchmaking.
