Me and a couple friends have had issues unlocking our achievements for the Tip of the Spear par time achievement as well as having issues unlocking the legendary in under 3 hours achievement for Halo Reach on PC. I have confirmed that I have completed these missions in the required time through the campaign leaderboards but do not have the appropriate achievements.
For the under 3 hour achievement, just loading up and running through a campaign again should unlock it. It’s the most common fix.

Pretty sure I’ve done that since. Does it have to be on legendary?

Yes, as the achievement itself needs to be done on legendary.

No, does the level I have to redo have to be on legendary, I know the achievement has to be on legendary.

I know. That’s what I said. As the achievement itself requires for the levels to be played on legendary, try running through a mission again. On legendary.
Just completed a mission on Legendary, no achievement unlock. I have just under 127 minutes of total time in missions on legendary and this can be confirmed by looking at my coop stats on my waypoint service record.
Turns out the solution for the 3 hour achievement was to watch the epilogue scene on Legendary. Gave me the achievement immediately.
I still however, do not have the achievement for completing Tip of the Spear on par time, even though I did. I even have the achievement for completing all of the levels of Reach with both par time and par score so there must be an issue with recognizing Tip of the Spears achievement in particular. This is especially evident because a couple of my friends are facing the same issue.

There are already a hundred posts on these forums and others mentioning that the Par Time achievement on Tip of the Spear is broken, with one user mentioning that Steam’s own records show that no one has gotten the achievement yet. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a single mod or developer response to this, no idea why they’re staying quiet but I’m sure they know about it and are working on a fix. There’s nothing you can do about it in the meantime, unfortunately.

I found a fix for this bug. I had a problem getting the par score for Halo 3’s “The storm” though I completed it several times. I also heard of others having par time/score problems on multiple missions for every game. The fix is to complete whatever Achievement you are missing during a playlist run. I have just unlocked the par time for “Tip of the spear”. so this confirms it. Enjoy and happy hunting!

thank you for the advice , but unfortunately it doesnt work. The problem isnt that we dont get the achievment at all . i think all of us having the achievment over xbox, but the Steam achievment wont get unlocked
Just completed halo reach laso playlist coop with a friend. He got the achievement and I did not. We played on his Xbox and he was the host. Any fixes besides doing it all over again. It was fun but hard at certain points.
