Hello everyone. So the one thing I’ve been enjoying the past week is working on Achievements. there are 50 that are not linked to the campaign. I’ve earned 47 of those 50 so far. BATTLE TESTED: Complete a Battle Pass will obviously take awhile but its just grinding. MEDIC!: Revive 3 allies in an Elimination round in a matchmade game requires Elimination to be part of the play list, so im guessing around Campaign release i might be able to earn that.
However, WATT YOU SAY?: Earn “Chain Reaction” with a Shock Rifle in a matchmade game is giving me a lot of trouble. Has anyone else here earned it? If so, any advice on how to earn it? Specific map, game type, etc… Anything is helpful.

I’ve got it. Your best bet is either bot matches or total control in big team. Bot matches are easier because obviously the bots don’t fight back as much, total control is good because you have lots of people clustered together.
Just focus on shooting the person with more health in a group, you’re trying to get the chain reaction to kill someone else.
Vehicles, high player counts, and direction are your best friend for this. I got this in Deadlock (the night BTB map) and just camped the Shock Rifle spawn and sat a distance from an objective and just zapped a Warthog getting shot at.
Just a tip there’s a website called true achievements it was literally designed to help;p players unlock annoying acheevos like this one otherwise bot battle on streets is the easiest map just learn in the bots and throw a gun on the ground and spam the gun on the ground when they get close
Easiest way to earn this is in Bot Matches in either Recharge or Streets which has a chance of spawning a Shock Rifle on the map… hardest part is getting a bot that is far enough away from your team mates that they don’t delete him before you can kill him with a chain reaction…
So watt you have to do (see what I did there…) is with the mangler, get 3 body shots on the bot, immediately drop the mangler and then shoot the mangler with the shock rifle. The electric charge will bounce off the mangler and should kill the weakened bot, earning you the achievement…
I tried with other weapons, but I found that the mangler was the most consistent because 3 body shots would always weaken the bot enough to die from a chain reaction. It took me a bit to get, but I finally got it, you can always practice this in training until you can consistently do it, then just play bot matches until you get the right maps where the weapon spawns…
I got this in Fiesta, zapped some bad guys when they were preoccupied with fighting some of my teammates who had softened them up first. Maybe just wait for Fiesta to come back
I had so much trouble trying to get that achievement, I got lucky and got it when fiesta was available I felt so relieved. I guess I’ll just say to try to always go for the shock rifle whenever you have the chance, since fiesta isn’t around anymore. I would assume btb would be the best place to try to get the achievement since there are more players so that means more opportunities for the kill. Good luck man
Thanks guys. Just earned it but for the life of me I have no idea how lol. It was in BTB Total Control. I have the video of it and honestly can’t see it… I THINK I shot someone and it arced to someone else who interned killed them both by accident lol. I’ll take it but like @yeskezspanem said above
