I beat Halo 2 Legendary solo and I never got the level achievements for 8 levels. I also beat a cross game playlist and never got my first achievement for a cross game playlist. Stupid -Yoink- MCC. I beat every Halo inside and out since 2001 Microsoft should just award me achievements already.
Sorry to hear mate, it sounds like Xbox Live really let you down. For the 8 missions, you can replay them on normal and still get the achievements. As for the cross game playlist achievement, you can replay the same playlist or try a new one for the achievement.
Also make sure no skulls are on when you run through the missions.

On the subject of the Halo 2 missions, I recommend running through them with an online co-op buddy, as this usually helps progress register on the servers, thereby netting you the achievements. You are missing the following missions:
- Outskirts - Delta Halo - Regret - Sacred Icon - Quarantine ZoneGood luck, and sorry that these things didn’t update. It’s annoying, I know.
