achievement classified codes not working!!!!

I’ve gotten every achievement in Spartan Assault but when I try to put in the classified codes to unlock the H4 stuff it says “LOCKED - UNLOCK THE “RECRUIT” ACHIEVEMENT IN HALO SPARTAN ASSAULT.” It says this for every code about unlocking certain achievements but I HAVE ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS! not only in spartan assault but every halo game created…This also brings me to another subject, on the Waypoint career section it says I have 411/461 achievements earned…there’s only 411…whats up with that?

Are you playing on Xbox? Only the Flying Colors code will work.

Each version of SA has separate achievements.

There are 4 different glyph codes for Spartan Assault. But depending on which version you have, you need to enter different codes:

Flying Colours - This is the only code you need to use if you have the Xbox One/360 version of the game. The Recruit, Prodigy and Able Spartan codes DO NOT WORK with the Xbox One/360 versions of the game.

Recruit, Prodigy, Able Spartan - These are the 3 code you need to use if you have the Windows 8 or Windows Phone version. The Flying Colours codes DOES NOT WORK with the Windows 8/Phone versions of the game.

In regards to the achievement count, there are 4 versions of the game: Windows 8, Windows 8 Phone, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Each version has its own set of achievements, although many of them are exactly the same. So the achievement count on Waypoint is correct, you just need to get all the achievements for each version of Spartan Assault.

So I got to get 4 different gaming devices of the same game to get all the achievements…?way to go 343…that’s definitely what your fans want…

I hope 343i fixes this @_@

You are aware that things like this aren’t 343’s decision, right? Spartan Assault was initially designed to promote the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms, a decision made by Microsoft (343’s bosses). If Microsoft decide that they want 343 to make the game available on all their platforms, 343 don’t really have a choice and have to do as they are told.

However last time I checked 343i does have a choice on how Waypoint integration and achievements work.

I’ve attained all the Halo achievements, including all four platforms for Spartan Assault. I would actually prefer the current system to remain in place, and many other fans feel the same way.

FYI - not too long ago in a similar thread bs angel has confirmed that no changes to the way achievements are integrated into Gamerscore for Halo Spartan Assault are to be expected.

She stated, “… The total Halo gamerscore includes all games on all platforms, as that is how Xbox Live handles grouping titles. Currently, there are no plans to change that system.”

As a side note, only achievements from 3/4 platforms are currently being tracked towards the Halo Career Milestone. Xbox 360, Windows 8, and Windows 8 Phone are all integrated into your career for a total of 900 Gamerscore.

The Forum Administration Team has confirmed that, “At this time Xbox One achievements are not displayed on Halo Waypoint by design.”

bs angel has recently commented on this as well by stating, “only Xbox 360, Windows 8 and Windows Phone achievements contribute to your Career milestone, and we currently don’t have plans to integrate Xbox One achievements (as they’re handled differently by Live).”

What other fans? And why? So you’re trying to tell me you view a system where you must purchase the same game 4 times to complete its achievements its somehow a good thing? Are you mad?

There is no reason to refute the current system in place. 343i retains the right to compose the Halo Gamerscore anyway they deem fit. In order to be a true completionist that is the path you must take. If it’s too tedious, time consuming, or simply not worth it to you then don’t do it.

Also, there was a $10 discount for gamers on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of Halo Spartan Assault who had previously purchased the game on Windows 8. Many of the achievements carried over to the Xbox 360 version, making it significantly easier to complete the achievements for the fourth and final time.

Additionally, Windows 8 and Windows 8 Phone are innately different from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions - only the two Xbox versions have a Co Op mode, which added several new achievements and also expanded and enhanced the overall game play. Another fundamental difference is that the achievements vary in overall Gamerscore between the versions. The Xbox One version has 1000 Gamerscore, Xbox 360 has 400 Gamerscore, and both Windows 8 and Windows 8 Phone have 250 Gamerscore each.

Whether or not you agree with me that’s the way it is and if you refer to my previous post you’ll see that it’s been confirmed that that’s the way it will remain (with the exception of the achievements from the Xbox One version - those could be integrated into the Halo Career Milestone at a later date, but at this time there are no plans to do so.)

Explained much better than I did.

Yes, they do indeed have a say in how achievements are integrated on Halo Waypoint. But not on Xbox Live as a whole, which is why there are 4 sets of achievements. The same thing could be said about Titanfall, CoD Ghosts or even Destiny. All 3 of these game are/will be available of both Xbox platforms, and in turn will have separate achievement lists for each console.

Look at it how you will, but its simply because each version of Spartan Assault is classed as different game for a different platform. Xbox box Live is no longer limited to the Xbox consoles, since achievements for Windows PC games are classed as part of this. Plus when the Games for Windows Live service ceases in July this year, Windows PC games will more than likely be fully integrated into Xbox Live.
