Achievement Broken | Support System Broken Too

So I’ve run into this issue months ago, before I took a break from Halo after doing all the CE/Reach achievements, and getting tier 100, I had no reason to continue so I stopped, but I’m back now, with another issue, and still being unable to submit a ticket due to some weird bug.

Here’s a super short YouTube video, demonstrating the bug in all it’s glory, please note this bug persists through the multiple browsers I’ve tried, including on my phone, so it’s not a hosts file issue either, here you go:

And now to my second issue, which is an achievement issue. I had a previous achievement issue from Halo 1, the umm… where you have to kill all the enemies at the start of I think it’s mission 3, without being detected, yeah, did it, no achievement, they’re still ducking that one to this day, stating it’s not impossible, just hard, even though I can do it continuously. Once I kill the last one, the other enemies run in from around the corner and the music starts, proof I killed all the first ones without being detected, but anyway, onto my current issue.

So, the Halo 3 LASO achievement. I unlocked the nameplate for completing the Halo 3 LASO Campaign playlist, as shown here:

It’s the ONLY playlist I’ve completed, as shown here:

I got the achievement for completing my first Halo 3 Playlist, as shown here:

However, the achievement for completing the specific playlist, LASO, is still locked:

Got the achievement for completing a playlist, got the nameplate that’s LASO specific, but not the LASO specific achievement. As I said, I would submit a plain support ticket, but that seems broken, just like the last time I tried. Then again Waypoint still says I’ve never played Halo Reach ever so… here’s hoping a plain forum post can get me somewhere…

Regarding the “All According to Plan” achievement, it is indeed bugged in the current build. Do you have a disc copy of the game? If you do, there is a workaround.

Uninstall MCC, go offline, and install the game from the disc. Once it completes, start up the game, and proceed to do what is required to unlock the achievement. Once you are absolutely sure you have done the proper steps, go ahead and save and quit.

Reconnect to the internet and update MCC. Before starting it up, go to “Manage game and add-ons.” Delete your local save only! This ensures your real save file does not get lost when MCC syncs up your save data.

Start up MCC. Your achievement should unlock within a few minutes.

I do everything digitally, so no discs, but I’m glad to find out it’s not just me. A lot of people are saying to just use the SAM tool to unlock the achievements if I’ve already done what’s required to unlock them, and having the nameplate from it, and the timings and proof of it being done, I figure it’s a safe bet. I’m an achievement hunter so I wish they’d just sort this out because seems there’s been glitches like this from the start.

Oh well, I’ll give it a month or two for it to pop before I force it to trigger, since my H2/3 achievements for campaign are all done now minus that, I’ll just work on the online stuff.
