So back in roughly October of 2016, I logged into my xbox and then into Halo Reach, at this point it showed me as never having played before with no account on Halo Reach at all after having played since 2012. I was confused to say the least, but I knew that Xbox had made some upgrades to their servers so I figured I would play along. after It asked me if I was “male” or “Female” I stopped and decided I didn’t like where this was going. So I reset my Xbox and rebooted it. After it loaded all the way back into Halo Reach, my account had returned and at first I was grateful, but then I realized that unfortunately part of my account had been reset. My campaign had be reset to show that I had never completed any missions even though on my profile it still shows that I have completed them. At Halowaypoint.com

on the initial home page it shows that I have only about 15 more Acheivements left, but when I click on the “More Stats” button and go to the next page, all of my achievments have been reset. and I have been unable to regain any of them. Even the most basic such as earning a first kill on a match, but regardless I am way past the point of being able to purchase anything in the armory as I have already purchased everything possible.
When I load Halo Waypoint either through the Xbox dashboard (my games) or through the HALO game itself in the options tab “Waypoint” it shows that I have not completed any achievments or any special tasks, I do realize i had not completed everything possible in the game, but I did have a significant amount of them completed as well as all of my “Waypoint career” points have also been reset along with the armors that I have acquired through the special missions that can only be accomplished through Waypoint.
My question is this? What the hell did I do,is this fixable/reversable or did my choosing “Male” or “Female” in that moment of uncertainty really have that much impact on an entire 5 years of playing this game that it could wipe it all away {or technically only half of my stats away}?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And I didn’t say anything in October because I was wrapped up in having several back surgeries and I have just now gotten back into playing.
