Accidentally deleted MCC compensation code

I got redirected here from Xbox live chat support so hopefully someone can help me.

I was going through my messages and deleting all the excess spam messages I have been getting lately. One of those messages was the message from Xbox regarding the free month of gold for the MCC collection compensation. I accidentally deleted it before I can redeem the code. Is there anyway I can get it resent to my account?

There was no code to redeem. If you got the message, one month of gold was automatically added to your existing subscription.

Well I got the message and didn’t get gold.

Just be patient. It’s done on a GT by GT basis, and you should have it within the next two weeks. :wink:

check your subscription status. it may have been extended without you even realizing it. they arent making a whole lotta fanfare about it when they do extend it.

I find that hard to believe.

If you got sent the message, it means that they have either added the gold subscription to your account, or they’re adding it soon.

They won’t send codes because they know people will sell them on, which is looked down upon :stuck_out_tongue:

It depends. If you had active gold then you are right. If not you got a message with a code.

I got the message with a code because I had the 12 month gold card sitting here but not redeemed because I decided to go do something else until it was fixed. (So I let my gold from a previous card end.)

Getting a message without a code is “odd”.

Not sure about this. I have not let my Gold lapse in 10 years so my subscription was simply extended. The message clearly stated the extension was automatic. There was no code. It does make sense that if you do not have Gold they would send a one month code. Then again, the criteria for receiving the compensation is that you were supposed to be playing the MCC in matchmaking - which you cannot do without an active Gold account. At that point, I can no longer advise…

I got a message with a code to extend my XBL membership for one month. Code was valid and was applied to my account.

The message I got didn’t have a code or anything. It simply said that a month was added to my account and that no action was necessary on my part.

It said clearly that there was no further action required.

Hi hope I can get some help. I was one of the first adopters of halo mcc and I did receive the free in game items that were told we would get. I however did not get the message that my live subscription was extended. Now I can let that slide but I think I should be able to get the ODST and remade map as promised and if I got the in game items and not the one month live then I really don’t know if I am covered at all. Talked to xbox support but told me to come here but not sure this will help.

Hi there, I posted and FAQ a few days ago that should answer most of your questions. Free month is still rolling out from what I know as people are still recieveing it today :slight_smile:
