Did anyone at 343i think about that?
It even happens to Bravo at 5:38 in the video he posted!
He tries to reload his BR and he picks the flag up, all you hear from him is “What?!”

I really hope this isn’t in every CTF gametype, because this is one of the main reasons I am concerned about not being able to drop the flag.
How does not being able to drop the flag improve gameplay in any way, shape, or form?

Hopefully this will be changed. I sympathize with those who suffer these incidents.
This is exactly like ‘press X to enter vehicle’ in CE/CEA. Annoying, inconvenient, and immersion breaking.
I’m cool with glued flags.
Auto pick up… not so much.
I have to agree, I didn’t really like that.
It might not be auto-pickup. He was turning away from his opponent. There is a good chance that he may have hit Reload while he was turning away and didn’t realize that the flag was behind him. If you look closely he was turning away because he needed to reload.
Isn’t reload a tap motion, and weapon/objective pickup a hold motion? If you aren’t limited, mistakes like this won’t happen. Its fine.
