Accepting halo infinites fate

I say it time and time again loving halo is like a toxic relationship. you know you need to leave but you don’t want to leave. I kinda gave up on halo after seeing how sad and humiliating 343 is treating halo infinite. stop making excuses for this company I understand you cover halo content because your passionate about it But let’s be real being a YouTuber is no guarantee of success. It’s all a chance and YouTube promotes games that are trending and killin it and the only game right now is Elden ring and I’d rather cover more content on that game to make a better income. All I know for sure is any type of halo content right now is not being talked about and has had a steady decline in popularity as well. I don’t see halo ever coming back strong with 343 in charge I don’t have faith in this company and I’m tired of people denying it just accept this Franchise fate and move on. You know it’s bad stop making excuses for these money hungry companies. If they really cared about the fans time and money they would’ve delayed the game and delivered a truly unforgettable experience and 343 knows they messed up big time with halo 5 and halo 4 and Mcc…. And delaying the game a year….

not adding enough maps/playlists

Desync -shots not registering

Overpriced item shop

No sense of motivation after completing Battle pass

Over all franchise fatigue

Let’s all be real. halo is not a big Trendy topic and dying
not only because of a lack of content
The real Reason and only real fans will tell you is because ever since 343 took over halo has had a hard time netting in and keeping a massive healthy player base for a long time and that’s just how modern gaming is
I feel the biggest mistake halo did was go live service. They tried to hop on the band wagon and copy other companies by making a live service game. And a game like elden ring taught me that real companies that care about there fans will actually listen and give the fans what we want
Remember this ….

Elden ring has no paid content or battlepass
And is worth $60/70 and has open world
PVP/PVE
100 plus hours of getting lost and exploring content

Ps. it has a way bigger player base then halo infinite will ever have in its life span

This is coming from a 25 yr old fan I was there for lan lobbies and beat all halo campaigns on legendary I watched the Rise and fall of this franchise. Numbers don’t lie and most importantly don’t lie to yourself. We all want this game to be great but it wont happen unless 343 is gone I’m sorry but they lost touch with the fans and the franchise. no matter if it’s the halo tv show or halo infinite. Both Medias are not popular enough in this day and age people are here today and gone tmm and it’s up to a smart and trustworthy companies to keep old fans but bring in new ones for as long as humanly possible and as long as I know there giving there 100% I’m fine with delays. I’m sorry it’s come to this but I’m quitting halo and never returning. I Gotta bad taste in my mouth and it won’t go away

After all this wait, all we get is a broken game with most of the functionalities not working, a game so broken that they have to work tediously to add the littlest thing, a studio running with underployment and very bad crucial decisions being made by people knowing nothing about gaming except the part where earning money and frustrating the player is involved …

And above all, the ambitions of both 343 and the fans were significantly lowered.

I have some hopes for the campaign, coop will be a hell of a fun even in the current state of the game. And i still hope for some patches and additions (hopefully not ONLY monetized dlc …), but after 4 months of silence i’m losing hope for any ray tracing, dynamic weather (their promises …) etc.

The multiplayer is a literal shame. While the gameplay and the overall balance/direction of the game IS good, the rest is absolute garbage.

Less game mode than Halo CE, no playlists at release and very poor ones now, good maps but generic art styles, 0 new or innovative game mode, broken theater, broken custom games, 0 new vehicles, the desync plague problem, no forge, no coop, underwhelming events despite actual good rewards, no progression system, very poor battle pass (most of the rewards are challenge swaps, and 0 currency of the game), very high price in the shop, very poor periodic shop, very bad interface, very bad challenges, bad vehicles balance and damage visualisation …

And i’m sure i’m forgetting a lot. Gladly, it is free to play, and even though i feel scammed for paying the campaign that high for the support it is getting now, i can still say to myself that i did not pay ANYTHING to play this broken thing. And i invite anyone who spend money on this game to stop until it is in a decent state.

This game multiplayer won’t deserve ANY money until :

• No desync
• Forge
• Coop
• Theater fixed
• Customs fixed
• Progression system
• No predatory business model
• Content (game modes, weapons, equipments, vehicles, etc.)
