I understand that people have been criticizing the new additions 343i has been adding to Halo 4 and saying that they are similar to CoD, I am now here to say that not everything individually is bad in CoD, they just put them together in a way that scared most players and developers off, and made game developers just wanna stay as far away as possible from anything CoD, killstreaks and custom loadouts in CoD were dumb but they see pretty balanced in Halo 4… Ordnance drops are made so that people that just don’t have time to memorize all the weapon spawns (like myself) would stand a chance and maybe even become decent players… Also some of the armor mods don’t seem too OP, the stalker mod is a DEATHSTREAK for crying out loud! Not everything similar to CoD is bad, everything was just abused in CoD… And I don’t seem to be seeing 2 shots to the body for the kill in Halo 4.
Agreed.
And before anyone just bashes on me, I DO prefer Halo and I have a question, have you played CoD?
Thats what im saying.
When my spartan is drop shooting with an UMP 45. then maybe we will have to talk.
I find CoD gameplay boring because the series has become stagnant. It’s imitation not innovation and essentially the same game is released every year.
In response I refuse to support that philosophy of creating entertainment, so I don’t buy the games anymore. The changes to Black Ops 2 are too little, too late…
I actually welcome changes to the Halo franchise. At least Bungie, and now 343i, have tried to keep things interesting.

TBH (not trying to start anything here) I sold my MW3 disc for 10 bucks, I think I got a good deal.

I sold my mw2 for 15 bucks (to a friend) to help towards some nice looking shoes. I got mw3 for free from my bro. I didn’t even play once or buy blops. I think it’s safe to say that I wont be getting the next cod game either. It’s a massive milking cow and gets way too repetitive. To each is own though, even some cod fans are getting tired with their own game.

Seems about right…I traded in World at War for Halo Wars and got rid of MW2 after a month…
I you order a burger and they give you chickee you you don’t “accept it”. You want what you origanally ordered.

I’d rather have anything than an 11 year old burger.

And seriously bro, change… It’s a part of life, you MUST experience it, better on a video game than real life.
> I you order a burger and they give you chickee you you don’t “accept it”. You want what you origanally ordered.
Yes, but I don’t order the same thing every time and having the same thing pushed on me will not fly…

I threw my Mw3 disk at the wall, I think I got a good deal.

I swear man people are like dogs these days, trained to hate anything new… Even if it’s perfectly fine!

Indeed. Also, lol’d at BULLETREAPER117’s post above yours…
I don’t speak for everyone, but my main problem isn’t with how balanced these things are (although 2 or 3 specialization make me worried), so much as the fact that they are in the game. Like someone I know said on another site, I don’t need to use these loadouts to know how loadouts work. They’re in other titles too, and I disagree with the entire concept of the loadout/custom class. I don’t want to see the whole idea. I want something else. That’s my beef with this.
I don’t want the same exact game every year. I want a game that uses what made Halo great: simplicity, weapons on map and great core, arena gameplay and expands on that. I wanted to see an evolution, not an assimilation into the massive blob of personalized-class shooters.

Who are you to say that it’s perfectly fine? If you were a witness to the death of a game you once loved, you’d be frustrated too.

There will be classic playlists that don’t use loadouts at all. Having both means more variety in the long run…hopefully.

And who are you to say it’s dying?

The death of Halo is a matter of perception.
He’s witnessing the same thing you are and likes the changes. You don’t.
90% of the topics in this forum are subjective topics. But like I said, there will be playlists tailored to the arena shooter we all know and love.
Personally, I’ll be spending just as much time in the classic playlists as in the loadout focused ones.
