So I searched older threads and I couldn’t find any that addressed this issue, but I was wondering if they’re going to bother fixing the Arena playlist? And by that I mean that fact that if you search in teams of 2 at the same time, then stick together after a game, you’re really a team of 4 playing against randoms. I think it’s pretty abusive of the whole system, considering it’s a team of 4 that is obviously going to win over strangers who don’t know each other.
I would normally play with a team, but there are times when I want to play Arena by myself and none of my friends are on. Even then, I am still entitled to play with random teammates, against random opponents. Without getting my -Yoink- kicked by a team with far superior teamwork.

You also recognize that the team of 4 isn’t a party of 4. They’re just players who stuck together after their match… Something you have control over too.
There’s nothing to complain about here, stop it.
The problem is the player pool, its too small, until this problem is solved there is no fix that will suffice.

You know that top ranking onyx players abuse this though. Jump into the game at the same time and keep playing until they match up with each other.
Then matching up with randoms instead of To4s.

You both have the same abilities, stop whining that a group decided to party up especially if the OP decides NOT to party up, he’s only hurting himself, but he doesn’t care otherwise he would do it too.

I can’t tell if you understand what OP is “whining” about…you are either encouraging him to abuse the two’s trick also which he can only do if he has a team of 4, and which will just make the overall problem worse by having more people abusing the system…or you think he is complaining about people partying up with others they don’t know (the OP is NOT complaining about that). EDIT - unless OP really is complaining about this?? haha…I can’t even tell…
I don’t see it as whining…the 2’s trick is something that could have been fixed a long time ago by having the system grab 8 players and then divide them up instead of grabbing 4 players and finding another 4.
Didnt it used to grab 8 like that back when it was based on team ffa?

So just because I can have a To4 against randoms makes it some how fair for those randoms?
I’m not saying because I choose not to do it makes it abuse.
I’m saying its actually abusing the system placing people in ranks that they shouldn’t be at or facing the opponents they shouldn’t be facing.

If you’re not prepared for that, don’t search alone.

There’s no reason to fix the playlist like that especially when a whole new game is coming out in less than 5 months.
