So basically had to idle my entire Warzone match. Why? BECAUSE I SPAWNED INSIDE THE VEHICLE BAY!!!
I was not going to quit because even valid reasons such as these would grant a ban. So I just walked around aimlessly, bored out of my mind, scaring enemies and getting tbagged by my team…
Sorry team for the un-supportive conduct I would of quit but I don’t want to get banned because 343 broke my spawn…

You won’t be banned. If you were running around it probably didn’t even register as Idle, but I honestly don’t know how it works.
Calm down… people act as if ONE or even two infractions and they will get banned… as long as you aren’t a repeat offender you should be fine.
The Banhammer doesn’t just come down for the slightest things, despite how people may talk about it on the forums. They say they put the controller down for 2 minutes and got banned for idling, and it turns out they have 20 DNFs out of 22 games almost every time.

It is just annoying though like… How can the spawn just put you inside places that it doesn’t normally place you in?
Plus I am just annoyed because I want to quit but don’t know how the system works and basically I wasted 20 minutes of my time because of the fear of penalties.
I understand your frustration. I’ve heard of it happening to other players, hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.
You could have killed yourself with grenades and respawned in a different base. Happened to me once and that was how I solved that problem.

Was it on Battle of Noctus? I’ve been seeing some people have the same issue as you OP. They must have placed a spawn point on top the vehicle bay doors or something.
Haha next time. I have also heard that if a teammate spawns a vehicle you can jump into the passenger seat to get out of the vehicle bay.
I spawned in the vehicle bay once and I couldnt get out for a long time. I finally found a corner where I fell through the floor and landed in the middle of the map. If you look at my xbox dvr I recorded it. I would link to it but I’m at work and xbox.com is blocked…but any https website isnt LOL sooooo waypoint it is lol.
if you are in a party just have a team mate spawn a vehicle, but tell you exactly when he is coming and you have to be quick to hop in since he cant stop it, thats how i got out the one time i was stuck. its fairly simple to get out,
one time i spawned in a rock, and was joined by someone else a minute later. this was assault so only one grenade… so we could not kill ourselves.
I spawned on the side of a cliff once.
This is actually worse than spawning off a cliff or in a kill volume… Potentially fixable, but damn…
I think you can sometimes hitch a lift with other vehicles if they spawn in there as well, never had this happen to me though.
Ive spawned in the bay 3 times all 3 times I was able to get out by falling through the floor to my death. Was in free fall with 3 guys for a couple minutes but eventually we died.

It did it to me. First time for ANY ban since Halo 2 online. I never quit a match unless it was urgent.
About a month ago or so, the servers were dumping me out of games…was having a decent match in Warzone when the doorbell rang and the dogs went spastic. Took 4 minutes to get back. I had been booted and given a 130 odd minute ban. Funny, I went and played Destiny for hours w/out issue that day, and had a better time playing.
Nice -Yoinking!- way to treat a long time, loyal, paying fan of the franchise MICROSOFT.

You only spawn with one frag. That is, unless you had the frag mod on that gives you 2 at spawn. Which not everyone plays with that mod on.
not sure if that’s the same for Warzone though. I mostly play Warzone assault
