I am in the middle of playing a match of team arena when I leave for about 2 minutes, I come back to my room and see the menu loading screen I press A and I get a message that I have been banned from arena for 2 hours. This is the first time I have been booted in 2 days and I instantly get banned. 343 you need to fix the banning system in Halo 5 because this is bs.
You have 11 DNF matches in your service record from the last 7 days which would be enough to trigger a short ban on your account. Adding in that you were idling through matches and that you have been banned before justifies the time. Bans themselves are incremental, so each time you trigger one the time will increase. If you need to leave, as players sometimes do, wait until the match is over and back out to the lobby. If you can’t wait you are better to quit out (still not idea, but IRL stuff happens so poeple are generally cool with it), that way you won’t get hit for idling. If leaving / idling mid-match is something you need to do often, maybe try and find a better time to play where you won’t have to quit or AFK so often.
